"Now you see me. Now you don't."
Storm's name is a misnomer. Far from being tempestuous, he's probably one of the calmest bos around. And since his job with the Decepticons routinely took him far behind enemy lines without backup, that is an advantageous trait.
Storm began his existence as a deep reconnaissance scout for the Decepticon Army. He had no love of combat, and was eventually thrown out of the ranks by his commander for alleged cowardice (he refused to kill an unarmed civillian he discovered while on patrol). He promptly left Cybertron after the incident and found work on some of the outer worlds. A mutual friend introduced him to fellow LONAC member Shadowstrike, who was then beginning a pirate operation. They became fast friends, and he joined her ship's crew as co-commander. The events that caused Strike to join LONAC years later saw him badly damaged and widely thought dead. A well-meaning civillian on Cybetron re-constructed him in a more Seeker-like form, although he remembered nothing of his former existence until meeting Strike again jogged his memory circuits. He decided to join LONAC with she and Misfit.
