In robot mode Novaburst is armed with his plasma sabre, laserfist arm cannon, and
eyebeam. His plasma sabre is capable slicing through most substances. He is
quite skilled at using his plasma sabre, his prefered weapon of
choice. Novaburst usually uses his laserfist while charging at an enemy with
his plasma sabre, while his eyebeam is almost only used in hand to hand
combat. Unlike the other Tactibots, Novaburst finds no need to have a
Spiderbot. In cybertronian fighter mode, Novaburst is able to use his laserfist. In this mode he is capable of reaching escape velocity, and also capable of interplanetary travel. Novaburst is able to merge with the rest of the Tactibots to form Hyperion. Novaburst forms the lower chest of Hyperion.
