An Autobot from creation, Arashi was once a fun loving, trouble making thrill seeker before the Ark's launch. He quickly changed his ways once Decepticon attacks increased and Autobot ground began to be lost, as well as the lives of friends. During the time between the Ark's launch and the Ark's reactivation of Earth he was given control of a small strike force, of which he is the only surviving member - the others hunted down and destroyed by a team sent by Shockwave. Rather than going after Shockwave and the team he sent for revenge he kept himself focused on the main goal to regain control of Cybertron, maybe being lucky enough to frag Shockwave and the others during the process.
