In a universe that mirrors our own, Spectral Death is known as Spectral Light, a force of good. A secret organization put together by the AutoCon Alliance, Spectral Light was formed specifically for the purpose of seeking out and bringing to justice the LONAC of that universe, which is twisted and evil. In an experient gone wrong, Spectral Light's only medic, Hitatron, was transported into our universe, and became trapped here when the portal closed behind him. Breifly after his arrived, he met the LONAC of this universe, and discovered that he had crossed realities. LONAC informed him of Spectral Death, and the evil Hitatron. Disgusted by this, he changed his name to Welder and asked to join LONAC. Apon this, he gained a new colour scheme.
