"I do what I want. Do you have a problem?"
Once, several centuries ago, an Autobot and Decepticon were trapped inside a transwarp test chamber by accident. The Autobot Hardwit and the Decepticon Splitdeath were mutated into one being by the transwarp explosion. The result was a strange transformer calling himself Splitwit. Forgotten in the explosion, and unable to decide on a faction, he wandered the cosmos until he ran across LONAC. Enjoying its peaceful nature, he signed up as soon as he could.
Splitwit is extremely confident in him self and never hesitates to enter battle. He has a casual attitude about his responsibilities, but is always there when you need him. He prefers to shoot first and ask questions later.
Splitwit's weapons of choice are his wrist-mounted shrapnel blasters. These unique weapons fire high velocity shards of metal over a narrow area. On his back he has a small flight / rocket launcher pack. Using this, he can sustain flight for up to ten minutes. Although the rockets are dumb-fire, Splitwit can make short work of enemy aircraft. Although weaponless, he is quite comfortable in car mode.
Other than having fairly weak armor, Splitwit tends to make rash decisions and underestimate his opponents.
