Junky LaFord is one of the more well-maintained Junkions you're likely to run into. After leaving his home planet of Junk, he decided to join LONAC for lack of anything better to do. The LSS Freedom needed an engineer, and LaFord wanted to work with parts that were new for a change.
After joining LONAC, he had an improved frame built for himself using the relatively high-tech material and his own brand of Junkion ingenuity. As is normal for Junkions, LaFord speaks primarily in TV-related phrases, and so it is only natural that the design of his new body was based on a character from a television program.
