Beamsabre (Custom) This custom-made beamsabre belongs to Waitstate and is his personal weapon of choice. The beamsabre works on a force field principle, with a miniaturized Type 4 field generator as its primary projection system. A wide range of intensity settings allow for maximum usefulness in any situation. These settings range from a minimum setting, which renders the blade into what is effectively an unbreakable blunt object, to the maximum setting, suitable for cutting through armor plating. The maximum setting range is rarely used, due to the risk of burnout. The beamsabre is operated either via a cyberlink or by a small control panel on the outer casing. Using the cyberlink, Waitstate is able to perform a broad number of specialized effects though nanosecond by nanosecond power output manipulation. Some of these effects include: deflection of weapons fire, explosive effects, and a variety of energy flares. For security reasons, the external controls are usually disabled, and the cyberlink is coded for Waitstate's use only. Submitted by Jeff Tindall
