Sunspot is a friendly, cheerful ex-Autobot who joined LONAC in hopes of finding some escape from the Transformers' civil war. She is the last surviving member of a close-knit combiner team, and it was the death of her "family" that caused her leave the Autobots. Though she tends toward the melancholy when thinking of her old friends, Sunspot usually has a smile for everyone. She has a talent for gagetry that seems more instinctual than learned, though she's best with engineering and repairing small devices. Comrades who have watched her at work often get the impression that she simply sweet-talks things into working.
In hover-car mode Sunspot has a maximum speed of 150 MPH on the ground over virtually any terrain. She can also use her extra jet boosters to become airborne for short periods at subsonic speeds. In robot mode her hands can withdraw into her forearms to allow her vehicle-mode thrusters to be used as flamethrowers. Her armor is more heat-resistant than that of most Cybertrons to make up for this, which also has the advantage of making her almost impervious to other heat-based weapons.
Sunspot's greatest weakness is her good-naturedness, which can be taken advantage of all too easily. Her relatively small stature puts her at a disadvantage in close-range combat with most foes.
