The Powermaster process has become the method of choice for saving the dying, with the assistance of the planet's human company White Star. One has been saved already, two remain. The medical team works to help the others, while the functional ponder what do to next.
[00:45] * Lifeblood is adjusting to his new body and helping with the repairs.
[00:45] * Apocrypha is wandering around useless.
[00:45] * Diecast is angsting about space.
[00:46] * Avalanche is unconscious.
[00:48] <Cirrus> *looks at the various injured* All the big guys got hurt...
[00:48] * Splitwit is unconcious and trashed
[00:49] * Solder is fixing 'bots.
[00:50] * Slipstream has recovered Waitstate's unconscious form, along with his meatsack passenger.
[00:50] * Comet is watching the sky.
[00:50] * Sarah is currently undergoing the Powermaster operation.
[00:50] * Adam cowers in Waitstate's cabin, nervously looking at the giant metal beings and handful of humans all around him through the cracked and broken windows.
[00:50] * Avi waits around Split's form, picking his teeth with a toothpick.
[00:51] * Lifeblood clomps over to Slip and Wait.
[00:51] * Adam backs away from Lifeblood as he approaches. He's pretty damn scary.
[00:52] * Lifeblood belches a steady plume of acrid black smoke.
[00:52] * Comet pulls his head out of the slowly-appearing stars for a moment.
[00:52] * Adam coughs.
[00:52] <Lifeblood> I see you have recovered Waitstate.
[00:52] <Lifeblood> What is his status?
[00:52] <Slipstream> Bloody unconscious and damned heavy.
[00:52] * Avi has gotten pretty much used to the ideas of gigantic sentient robots by now. He tosses the toothpick on the ground and steps over to where Sarah is.
[00:53] <Lifeblood> Acknowledged.
[00:53] * Sarah is waking up slowly from all the modificating.
[00:53] * Adam might be used to it if he hadnt been inside a small two-seater at the time
[00:53] <Avi> So, I guess you're going to be a robots engine now too, yeah?
[00:53] * Lifeblood starts to detach Wait from Slipstream.
[00:53] <Comet> How do you feel, Sarah?
[00:53] * Solder keeps an eye on Lifeblood as he continues working on whoever he was working on.
[00:53] * Avi watches with intrest as she comes back online. Still a smidge skeptical of the whole Powermastering idea, he is...
[00:54] <Sarah> Ooooooooooh... Huh? How many of us will there be?
[00:54] * Lifeblood lowers Wait to the ground.
[00:54] <Restore> So far, three
[00:54] * Adam "OOF"s at the impact, slight though it was.
[00:54] * Slipstream waits till all the cables and stuff have been unattached, then drifts off to the side somewhere, out of the way.
[00:54] <Lifeblood> Your assistance in relocating Waitstate to the operating area would be apprec - acknowledged.
[00:54] * Lifeblood heaves Wait up into the air with a shower of sparks.
[00:55] * Avi rubs his chin-stubble.
[00:55] * Lifeblood clomps back to where the medical staff are working.
[00:55] <Comet> Sarah?
[00:56] <Comet> Feeling okay?
[00:56] <Comet> Systems all online?
[00:56] <Comet> Joints well-oiled?
[00:56] <Solder> Heh. Nice pitch, Lifey.
[00:56] * Restore does a few scans to make sure everything is working right.
[00:56] <Sarah> I...I think I'm okay... Just a little nauseaous...
[00:56] * Solder gives a thumbs-up.
[00:57] <Comet> Is that bad, Restore?
[00:57] * LeRoy ambles over to the awakening Sarah.
[00:57] <Restore> That should pass in a little while, you're body will adjust to the new gear.
[00:57] <LeRoy> So.
[00:57] <LeRoy> How's everything goin' over here?
[00:58] <Restore> Ready to go when you are.
[00:58] * Sarah sits still on the table and feels a little woozy.
[00:58] <Avi> Big day.
[00:58] * Lifeblood starts his diagnosis of Wait.
[00:58] <Avi> Meeting robots and all.
[00:58] <Comet> Heh, you'll be fine.
[00:59] * Adam peeks out in a panic at the nearby humans. Wearing strange armor though they may be.
[00:59] * Comet starts mapping the sky again to keep occupied.
[00:59] <LeRoy> The operatin' and whatnot all taken care of?
[00:59] * Avi sighs "So, eh, when's it my turn?"
[00:59] <LeRoy> Nothin' obviously out of the ordinary?
[00:59] <Solder> Y'know, I always wondered.
[00:59] <Restore> Like I said, ready to go.
[01:00] <Solder> What would happen if a Powermaster were to transform and not attach to its partner?
[01:00] <Solder> Would they just start leaking fuel into the ground?
[01:00] <Lifeblood> It would fall on the ground.
[01:00] <Solder> ...well, yeah.
[01:00] <Solder> I knew THAT. /:)
[01:00] <Avi> Well, I'm up, I guess.
[01:00] <Restore> And it's your turn now, Avi.
[01:00] <Solder> But the fuel. Would it not flow, or would it make a big ol' mess?
[01:01] * Cirrus sits on the ground near Avy
[01:01] * Avi removes his jacket, folds it, and tosses it down on the ground.
[01:01] * Sarah gets off the table and takes a nice seat on the ground, putting her head between her legs.
[01:01] <Restore> Thats all that would happen, Solder. No energy transfer would take place unless the engine was connected.
[01:01] <Lifeblood> The Powermaster linkage is a direct energy transference.
[01:02] <Solder> Aha. Thanks, 'Store.
[01:03] <LeRoy> All right. let's get this new fella hooked up. We're wastin' daylight.
[01:03] * LeRoy glances at the reddening sky.
[01:03] <Comet> No kidding.
[01:03] <LeRoy> Manner a' speaking, leastways.
[01:03] * Comet is entranced by the sunset.
[01:03] * Waitstate leaks fluids
[01:04] <Comet> Back where I come from, the cities blocked off most of these. Never ever saw a real horizon at sunset....
[01:04] * Restore leads Avi to whereever it was the proceddure would take place and begins work.
[01:04] <Avi> Ah, hey. One question.
[01:04] * Solder fixes his latest patient and scrambles over to patch up Waitstate's leaks.
[01:04] * Solder's arm falls off. "Rassin' frassin'..."
[01:04] * Avi taps his glasses "Can I keep these?"
[01:05] * Lifeblood stands up noisily.
[01:05] * Adam is still inside Waitstate and stuff.
[01:05] <Lifeblood> Waitstate's primary distribution unit is destroyed.
[01:05] * Solder slaps his arm back on rather noisily and assesses the leaks.
[01:05] <Restore> If you want to, I suppose. I could easily heal your vision though, you know.
[01:05] <Lifeblood> This would not be a critical injury if his main storage cell were also not damaged.
[01:05] <Solder> Hey...
[01:06] <Solder> ...there's a squishie in here!
[01:06] * Admiral Lilwall moves over to Waitstate.
[01:06] * Solder reaches through the busted window.
[01:06] * Adam whimpers.
[01:06] <Lifeblood> And neither would be of undue concern if we had replacement parts.
[01:06] <Lifeblood> Yes. There is.
[01:06] <Solder> Don't worry, little guy! Heh heh.
[01:06] <Avi> No, no thanks.
[01:06] <Admiral Lilwall> Finally found him, how is he, Lifeblood?
[01:06] * Solder opens Waitstate's door and pulls the human out. Gently.
[01:06] <Lifeblood> It seemed upset. I chose not to disturb it further.
[01:06] * Adam screams in fear.
[01:06] <Lifeblood> Functioning, Admiral, but only that.
[01:07] <Solder> It's alright, little guy! I'm not gonna hurt ya...
[01:07] * Restore injects the sedatives and begins work.
[01:07] <Adam> What are you things??
[01:07] <Lifeblood> Once his reserves deplete, his systems will cease functioning.
[01:07] <Avi> *Sleepy* Can't believe... I agreed to this...
[01:07] * Avi conks out.
[01:07] <Lifeblood> And his power system is beyond our ability to repair in these circumstances.
[01:07] <Solder> We're Transformers!
[01:07] * Admiral Lilwall gets down to a level to see the human.
[01:07] <Solder> Watch.
[01:07] * Solder puts Adam down on the ground, steps back, and transforms.
[01:08] <Solder> See?
[01:08] * Adam jerks his head back and forth, trying to take it all in.
[01:08] <Adam> h-how'd you do that?
[01:08] * Solder transforms to robot and back. And back again.
[01:08] <Admiral Lilwall> We're not here to harm you, so don't worry about that.
[01:08] <Solder> It's easy!
[01:08] <Solder> Wanna do it yourself?
[01:09] <Lifeblood> Fortunately, Admiral, a Powermaster bonding might suffice to solve his energy problems. Though until further repairs could be effected, the partner would be obliged to remain connected at all times.

[01:09] <Solder> Do we have parts for ALL of these bondings? I mean, sure, we had some for one, but...
[01:09] <Lifeblood> Fortunate, as well, is that Doctor Restore seems to have set up the necessary theatre for such a procedure.
[01:10] <Admiral Lilwall> Well, we've had good luck getting volunteers already, we'll have to ask around for another.
[01:10] * Sarah starts feeling a little better and pokes at her new armor a bit because it feels funny.
[01:11] * Talis flies into camp after checking the last two landing sites, coming up empty, except for more dead carcasses.
[01:12] * Admiral Lilwall looks back to the human.
[01:12] <Admiral Lilwall> What is your name?
[01:13] <Comet> It's so pretty...
[01:13] * Thrashmane patrols around in lion mode.
[01:14] <Solder> Hrm.
[01:14] <Solder> So.
[01:14] <Adam> erm... Adam, sir. Adam Marshall.
[01:15] * Sunspot is still busy being unconscious.
[01:15] <Admiral Lilwall> This isn't really the best place for you to be at the moment, Adam. Can you tell us how to contact your parents?
[01:16] <Solder> We got any exo-suits around? That'll fit him? He wants to know what it's like to transform, so...

[01:18] * Solder trots off back to repairs.
[01:18] <Admiral Lilwall> I think it would be better if the crew member I send with you drove themself.
[01:19] * Avi is being Powermasterified, hoorah.
[01:19] * Admiral Lilwall thinks to himself about which one of the crew is sane enough for such a task.

[01:19] <Admiral Lilwall> Yes.
[01:19] <Admiral Lilwall> His name is Waitstate. He is our commander.
[01:20] <Adam> wow... that must be why he had such a neat computer...
[01:20] * Comet rolls over on his back and starts analyzing the sky to see if he knows this place.
[01:22] <Admiral Lilwall> You accesses his computer?
[01:22] <Adam> Yeah!
[01:23] * Adam brushes aside his hair and shows a computer linkup hooked around his ear.
[01:23] * Sarah slowly gets to her feet.
[01:23] <Adam> he had a port, and I hooked in. That's how I got him started up to drive.
[01:23] <Comet> ....hey.
[01:23] <Admiral Lilwall> Ah.
[01:23] <Comet> Wait.
[01:24] <Comet> I know where we are...
[01:24] <Comet> Well, I've not actually BEEN here, but...
[01:24] <Comet> ...according to all my studies...
[01:24] * Comet looks for a human.
[01:25] * Admiral Lilwall turns to Lifeblood.
[01:25] * Solder diagnoses a little golden robot that everyone seems to be ignoring for one reason or another.

[01:26] <Sarah> Hmm?
[01:26] <Admiral Lilwall> Lifeblood, what is the state of Waitstate's brain? Adam plugged into a terminal earlier.
[01:26] <Comet> Where did you come from?
[01:27] <Comet> This planet isn't supposed to have a human-supportive atmosphere.
[01:27] <Lifeblood> System signs are stable. I have not yet made a more exhaustive scan.
[01:27] <Comet> In fact, it's not even the right distance from its sun! Yet the skycharts identify it...
[01:28] <Sarah> Originally? Like, all the people here?
[01:28] <Lifeblood> This is contingent on his continued operation, of course.
[01:28] <Comet> Yes.
[01:28] <Sarah> We came from a planet called Earth.
[01:29] <Comet> Earth, hm? But how did this planet get this atmosphere?
[01:29] <Sarah> Terraforming teams, I think.
[01:30] <Comet> Hrm. But the distance from the sun...
[01:31] <Sarah> I don't really know all the science involved. I haven't studied much climatology.

[01:32] * Solder hooks the golden robot up to a recharge port.

[01:34] <Sarah> The main climatology control building is pretty easy to see. It's a large pyramidical glass building in the middle of the city.

[01:36] <Sarah> Well, there's the fact that our race hasn't made any contact that I know of with robot life forms, so you might want to keep that in mind...

[01:37] * Diecast nervously plays solitaire.

[01:39] <Lifeblood> Admiral, there may be a complication in performing a Powermaster conversion on Waitstate.
[01:39] <Admiral Lilwall> Hold on a second Comet.
[01:39] * Sunspot starts to wake up.
[01:39] <Comet> Something's wrong. This planet shouldn't be like this. I'd like to say more, but I can't. I have, however, been, um, told that some of the inha - .

[01:39] <Comet> Yessir.
[01:40] * Solder doctorly makes note of the awakening golden robot and continues working on the other patients.
[01:40] <Sunspot> Ooooooooooooooo...
[01:41] <Lifeblood> Apparently, previous outside access of his operational binary channel has had an unforeseen and, as far as I am aware, unprecedented effect on the compatibility of his basic mental function with another's at the level required of a binary-bonded partnership.
[01:41] * Sunspot looks around.
[01:41] <Sunspot> Where ARE we?
[01:42] * Cirrus walks over to Sunny.
[01:43] <Cirrus> You're 'wake!
[01:43] <Solder> If there's a bright side to the universe, we seem to be on the planet that's about average distance away from it. Needless to say, not on the ship. Heh heh!
[01:43] <Lifeblood> Furthermore, I would estimate the probability of a successful binary bond being established with an individual other than the one responsible for this event as being less than zero point zero zero zero zero zero eight.

[01:44] <Lifeblood> On the optimistic side, the individual responsible is in all likelihood Waitstate's organic guest.
[01:44] <Cirrus> The scary guy on that station tried to blow us up and we did blow up but we didn't die and we crashed on a planet that wasn't there before and people are being fixed up now!

[01:52] * Adam winces as he sees the giant red robot coming toward him.

[01:52] <Comet> [comm] Roadkill, do you copy?!

[01:52] <Comet> ...who's Roadkill?
[01:53] * Comet runs back over to Cirrus & co.

[01:54] * Thrashmane sits down and lets out a sigh and stares into the distance past Sunny.

[01:54] <Roadkill> [comm] Sure, sounds good to me.
[01:54] * Adam shakes his head in an emphatic no.
[01:54] * Admiral Lilwall gets down as far he can.
[01:55] <Admiral Lilwall> This is all a bit overwhelming, isn't it?

[01:55] * Sunspot leans over and hug Thrashmane.
[01:55] <Sunspot> I'm glad you're okay!
[01:56] <Sunspot> And I'm glad you're okay from the pirates, too. I was worried. Except that I was mostly unconscious.
[01:56] * Thrashmane drops one bigass arm over Sunny and chuckles.

[01:56] * Roadkill wanders over to where the majority of people seem to be, looking for Comet...
[01:56] <Admiral Lilwall> I need to speak with one of your parents. We need your help to save Waitstate, but I don't feel right asking it of you without your parents present.

[01:59] * Avi wakes up all groggy and shit. The first thing he does is reach for his glasses and put them on.

[02:00] * Roadkill strides out of the general area, then transforms when he's got enough room and tears after Comet.

[02:01] * Sarah starts wandering around the base, wondering when she'll be needed to actually join with this robot.

[02:03] <LeRoy> Can barely remember what it felt like to not be able.
[02:03] * Roadkill is well behind Comet, what with not being able to fly and all. :P
[02:03] * Avi stands up, wavers, and gets his balance. "So... just like walking, huh?"
[02:03] * Comet flies all over the city, circling and doing something, then transforms and waits back at the entrance.

[02:04] <Avi> I'm kinda hungry.
[02:04] * Roadkill finally arrives at the edge of the city.

[02:04] * Comet hands Roadkill a disc.
[02:05] <Avi> I guess it'd be stupid to ask if anyone has any challa?
[02:05] * Roadkill transforms and takes the disc.

[02:05] <LeRoy> Somethin' like walkin', and somethin' like, say, math.
[02:05] <Comet> I took the lead time to map out the city, so you'll know where we're going.
[02:05] <Restore> Ok, now where is Sarah, we should get you guys hooked up to your partners now.
[02:05] * Avi hops down off the bed and runs in place for a moment to get used to his new metalness.
[02:05] * Sarah is just sorta wandering around in a daze.

[03:32] <Avalanche> I guess with the ship gone we didn't have our normal repair facilities anyway...

[03:34] * Sunspot is wandering around outside and hears Avalanche's voice inside the repair tent.

[03:35] <Crosswire> I suppose it would be hard for you believe we are sentient, none of your machines are self aware, is that correct?
[03:35] <Crosswire> I am surprised you've not heard of us before though, we're fairly common throughout the galaxy.
[03:36] * Sunspot looks inside.
[03:36] <David> A few have come close. Very close, in fact. But nothing on your apparent level. I've never seen a being at all like you.
[03:36] <Restore> Ah, Avalanche.

[03:36] * Cirrus looks up from his doodles.

[03:37] <Comet> I gotta analyze some data, but I figured I'd like some company while I did it, so I came to see what you were doin'.
[03:37] <Avalanche> A bit beat-up and sore, but nothing a little rest and recharge won't fix.
[03:38] <Cirrus> Oh, cool. Anything interesting?
[03:38] <Restore> Glad to hear. Sarah there was eager to help you. I'm sure everyone is happy you'll be ok,
[03:38] <Comet> Well, hopefully it'll tell us where we are. /:)
[03:38] <Comet> I mean... I think I already know, but some things aren't right.
[03:38] <David> Sorry. I wasn't exactly the star pupil in my history class, but I woulda remembered something like that.
[03:38] * Sunspot steps into the tent, not entirely sure she's allowed to be in there.
[03:38] <Comet> So it's interesting to me, but I dunno if anyone else would be...
[03:38] <Sunspot> Avy?
[03:38] <Cirrus> What's so weird about it?
[03:39] <Crosswire> It won't take much longer to get to our camp.
[03:39] * Solder shines some weird ray over Sunspot as she enters.
[03:39] * Avalanche looks over.
[03:39] <Solder> Deionizing beam. Just sanitation, don't worry.
[03:39] <Solder> Y'know how we doctors are about sanitation. :)
[03:39] * David notices several White Star trucks both coming and going along their route.
[03:39] * Sunspot winces at the light.
[03:39] <Comet> Well, the planet's a little farther from its star than it should be.
[03:40] <Avalanche> Hiya, Sunspot. Good to see you made it out okay.
[03:40] <Cirrus> Couldn't it move or something?
[03:40] * Sunspot runs over and hugs Avalanche.
[03:40] <Comet> Not without doing terrible damage to the planet. But apparantly, the only change to the planet was brought on by the terraforming!
[03:41] <Cirrus> Huh... that does sound weird
[03:41] <Sunspot> Cirrus said you had crashed and you were hurt really bad and he didn't know if you'd be okay and they had to put a girl in you!
[03:43] * Avalanche smiles.
[03:43] * Comet begins analyzing.
[03:43] * Cirrus watches the pretty colors
[03:44] * Cirrus actually understands some of it though.
[03:44] <Avalanche> I'm okay. Her name is Sarah. I'll let you get properly introduced...Solder? How long does she have to stay attached right now?
[03:44] <Comet> So what're you up to?
[03:44] <Solder> Um... well, you said you still felt like you needed to recharge, right?
[03:45] <Cirrus> Nothin' really. Just tryin' to stay outta the way mostly.
[03:45] * Avalanche nods.
[03:45] <Avalanche> I guess you'll be properly introduced when I feel a little better.
[03:45] <Comet> Ohh, heh. I got in the way earlier, but it got me this information, so it was useful. Whatcha drawin'?
[03:45] <Solder> Well, uh, you tell me!
[03:45] <Solder> Yeah.
[03:46] <Solder> That's the ticket.
[03:46] <Solder> Hey, don't s'pose either of you can doctor much, can you?
[03:46] <Cirrus> Oh, just stuff. That truck over there. The people. The mountains. A puppy.
[03:46] <Solder> I feel like I've been working this load since the dawn of time...
[03:46] <Sunspot> I can fix ships, but I'm not very good with things that are alive...
[03:46] <Comet> ...what's a "puppy"?
[03:47] <Solder> Huh.
[03:47] * Cirrus points. "That."
[03:47] <Comet> Cute.
[03:47] * Roadkill wanders over to his shuttle
[03:47] <Cirrus> Isn't it? I bet they have em here somewhere. They hang out with humans a lot.
[03:48] <Comet> Neeat.
[03:48] <Comet> You should look in town.
[03:48] <Comet> ...except, um, you can't.
[03:48] <Comet> We're forbidden to go in there now.
[03:48] <Cirrus> Aww... I wanted to play with the puppies!
[03:48] <Comet> Sorry. :(
[03:49] <Comet> Maybe some other planet?
[03:49] [narraton] A somewhat larger than normal orange tabby cat bounds out of the shuttle when Roadkill opens the hatch and mews at the large blue bot imperiously.
[03:49] * Crosswire arrives back at the camp and reduces speed to a much slower pace.
[03:52] <Roadkill> Ah, Kitty... man, I forgot to feed you... sorry Kitty...
[03:53] [narration] The orange tabby cat climbs up Roadkill and settles on his shoulder, then mews at him again. 'Feed me!'
[03:55] * Gearlock has since gone off to rest with Slip.
[03:57] * Redliner is still off telling and listening to stories with Flashpoint and company.
