[00:10] * Splitwit is hanging out at his desk in the armory, cleaning a gun!
[00:10] * Admiral Lilwall is on the bridge.
[00:10] * Restore is in medbay.
[00:10] * Lightning, Crosswire, Snake-Eyes, and Pheonyx are scattered about the ship.
[00:10] * Waitstate is on the bridge, at tactical.
[00:10] * Little Blue Robot is in his quarters.
[00:10] * Thrashmane is on the bridge, at the mission ops station.
[00:11] * Outreach is in Medbay.
[00:11] * Lifeblood has followed Restore to medbay.
[00:11] * Apocrypha is on the bridge being useless.
[00:11] * Avalanche has decided he's done about all the searching through the ship for survivors he can manage and is heading back to the bridge.
[00:12] <Little Blue Robot> Hey! Anybody out there? The door won't open!
[00:12] * Little Blue Robot bangs on the door.
[00:12] * Splitwit stops whistling to take a lick of the gun "Hmm... the shnozberries taste... like shnozberries!'
[00:13] * Cirrus is on the bridge.
[00:26] [narration] The DEM cannon and the station's massive weapon collide! The Freedom is engulfed in a flash of light...
[00:27] [narration] Inside, the ship lurches violently!
[00:27] * Splitwit is tossed about!
[00:27] <Solder> ...wo-OAH!
[00:27] <Splitwit> Whoaaaaa what the hell?!
[00:27] * Solder tries to secure patients as they all go flying about.
[00:27] * Avalanche reaches out and braces himself against the walls of the corridor he's in.
[00:27] * Restore gets back up from the other side of medbay.
[00:27] * Splitwit grabs the gun and goes crashing to the floor, face first "owwwwwwww face plant..."
[00:27] <Waitstate> Get us stabilized!
[00:27] <Cirrus> Conn systems are dead Captain!
[00:27] * Little Blue Robot is thrown into a wall of his room.
[00:28] <Splitwit> This is so not my day...!
[00:28] * Lifeblood staggers around.
[00:28] <Restore> everyone hold on!
[00:28] <Solder> Hoooooooley...
[00:28] * Slipstream was snoozing on flight deck in her alt mode... until the ship lurches and knocks her around. "gwargh, wha?!"
[00:28] * Apocrypha topples over.
[00:28] <Waitstate> Hull integrity is destabilizing! Engineering, get us under control!
[00:28] * Gravix braces himself.
[00:28] <Solder> [Comm to Bridge] Hey! Guys in charge! What'n TAR-nation's goin' on up there! We got a bay full'o'wounded an' we're going BACK INTO battle?!
[00:28] * Waitstate buzzes Engineering repeatedly.
[00:28] * Anchor works furiously to stabilize!
[00:28] * Flashpoint doesn't know where he is. But he takes a free flying lesson, wherever he is.
[00:28] * Avalanche tries to hurry to the bridge, despite occasionally being sent into walls by the ship's motion.
[00:28] [narration] ALARM lights and buzzers flash all over the bridge.
[00:28] * Talis watches most of the mess he cleaned up recently go all over the place again.
[00:29] [narration] Bottles and kegs go flying, smashing open everywhere in the bar stock room.

[00:29] * Outreach fixes up people in the medbay.
[00:29] * Little Blue Robot is pinballed around his room.
[00:29] <Waitstate> I'm reading the anti-matter core as unstable, slag!
[00:29] <Outreach> [comm] is anyone else wounded across the ship!?
[00:30] <Restore> They'll come to us!
[00:30] * Solder attempts to secure down patients and fix them and not fall over himself all at the same time.
[00:30] <Waitstate> [comm] Engineering, the core is gonna go!
[00:30] <Slipstream> [comm to bridge] What the slaggin' pit is goin' on?!
[00:30] * Splitwit knows he'll get ignored, but screw 'em, and comms the bridge.
[00:30] [narration] consoles FLARE OUT in surges and spark near the intoxicants.
[00:30] <Splitwit> [Comm] Bossbot! What in the expletive-deleted is wrong with the ship?
[00:31] <Waitstate> [comm] No time!
[00:31] * Waitstate watches his console as it shows EPS relays all over the ship blowing out, and tries desperately to stabilize.
[00:31] * Outreach runs across the ship, looking for more wounded.
[00:31] * Avalanche gets to the bridge and then realizes they probably won't hear him knock with all the ruckus going on.
[00:31] <Cirrus> Waitstate, I'm reading a planet below us!
[00:32] <Waitstate> WHAT??
[00:32] <Admiral Lilwall> Core containment systems failing!
[00:32] * Apocrypha stays out of the way.
[00:32] <Drill Master> I take it you can't just land this thing.
[00:32] * Slipstream sits in the flight deck just in case she needs to launch or anything...
[00:32] * Thrashmane just prays.
[00:32] * Waitstate watches the critical systems fail.
[00:32] [narration] Consoles and lights and lifts and other stuff all go nuts ship wide.
[00:32] <Waitstate> That's it, no other choice...
[00:33] * Splitwit is scrambling about, grabbing every weapon he can get his hands on and making himself into a small arsenal... "The commies are attacking! The commies are attacking!"
[00:33] <Waitstate> [Shipwide Comm] All hands, abandon ship! I repeat, get the slag out of here! All airlocks, docking bay doors, and escape pods are being unsealed now!
[00:33] [narration] SPARKS catch the FUELS.
[00:33] * Avalanche looks up at the announcment. "Woah, slag..."

[00:33] <Admiral Lilwall> Fire in the store room!
[00:34] <Drillmaster> I guess giving up is the only option.
[00:34] * Splitwit bolts for the nearest airlock, hauling as much ass (and firearms) he can. :D

[00:34] * Admiral Lilwall exits the bridge.
[00:34] * Roadkill makes his way to the flight deck. o_x;
[00:34] * Earshot runs into the flight deck, tf'in and soaring out into space.

[00:34] * Lifeblood starts hauling wounded.
[00:34] * Solder also starts hauling wounded.
[00:34] [narration] Most of the fuels burn up and the entire bar stock room EXPLODES.
[00:35] * Outreach checks engineering for any wounded.
[00:35] * Download is vaporised.
[00:35] <Apocrypha> My shuttle. I've got to get to my shuttle.
[00:35] [narration] the explosions RIP through the plaza, obliterating EVERYTHING and rocking the ship VIOLENTLY.
[00:35] * Slipstream launches and hovers outside the Freedom...
[00:35] * Cuffs and Hitchhike make a break for the nearest escape pods.
[00:35] * Waitstate sets as many systems on automatic as he can, in case the ship survives, and gets himself up and out of the bridge.
[00:36] <Ruse> Wish I had a little more time to grab stuff.
[00:36] * Ruse runs for his shuttle.
[00:36] * Apocrypha heads for whichever bay it is has her shuttle in it.
[00:36] * Snake-Eyes is blown against a wall as the explosion destroys her store.
[00:36] * Powerplay, Line-In, Trihorn and Direclaw die in their shop.
[00:36] [narration] The explosions rip up and down, blowing into medbay.
[00:36] * Recoil is running down a corridor and hears a small voice behind a door.
[00:36] * Outreach hears the blue robots, and, using his small pistol, shoots down the door.
[00:36] * Restore and patients go flying.
[00:36] <Recoil> Someone in there??
[00:36] <Little Blue Robot> woah!
[00:36] * Little Blue Robot jumps back.
[00:36] <Little Blue Robot> ....thank you!
[00:36] <Lifeblood> Restore!
[00:36] * Splitwit puts his head down as he nears the airlock, intending to head-butt the thing open... unfortunately, the inner door is already open and the outer door opens just as he touches it, and Splitwit goes hurtling out into space!
[00:36] * Roadkill skids into flight deck and heads for his shuttle, opening the doors so any other bots on flight deck can pile in.
[00:37] <Little Blue Robot> I'm Comet.
[00:37] * Talis gets knocked off his feet {and he's a big guy} as a bulkhead explodes behind him.
[00:37] <Comet> But I don't think we've time for that now...
[00:37] * Restore is all dizzy on the floor, trying to get up.
[00:37] <Splitwit> ... Uh, whoops?
[00:37] * Outreach looks inside torwards the blue robot "come on! run to the escape pods! move!"
[00:37] * Lifeblood lays his current patient down and heads back for the stragglers.
[00:37] * Recoil runs on to the docking bay
[00:37] <Comet> I'll be fine without them... just tell me where the bays are.
[00:37] * Anchor grabed his cash register on the way out and reaches his shuttle.
[00:37] * Avalanche sticks his head through the bridge door and sees Cirrus putting the final touches on the autopilot commands.
[00:37] * Lighting leaps out of an air lock after a few other bots and flies away from the ship.
[00:37] * Waitstate gets to an airlock and watches evactuation progress on a wall monitor.
[00:38] * Roadkill stands at the door of his shuttle and yells for anyone who enters flight deck to board it.
[00:38] * Thrashmane reaches an escape pod, wondering where in the flaming HELL Sunspot is.
[00:38] * Apocrypha keeps an eye out for another passenger or two on her way.
[00:38] <Cirrus> Avy!
[00:38] * Firestorm bolts for the nearest escape pod.
[00:38] * Cirrus gets up
[00:38] <Cirrus> We gotta go!
[00:38] <Avalanche> Hey, we gotta get going, Cirrus!
[00:38] [narration] numerous pods are launching, most with only a couple of bots each inside.
[00:38] * Outreach runs to medbay, checking for stragglers.
[00:38] * Lifeblood pulls Restore up.
[00:38] <Gravix> I was just begining to think of this place as home.
[00:38] * Diecast, very very confused, gets to Roadkill's shuttle.
[00:38] * Cirrus runs over to the bridge door.
[00:38] * Restore gets up and starts running with whoever else is left.
[00:38] <Lifeblood> Doctor, we need to evacuate immediately.
[00:38] * Solder rolls into the shuttle bay with a bunch of patients stacked on his deck.
[00:38] * Talis gets up and starts looking for bots needing help
[00:38] * Crosswire scrambles into a shuttle with some others.
[00:38] <Avalanche> C'mon, this'll be easier...
[00:38] <Solder> Which one! :D
[00:38] <Diecast> *Sings* Sit down sit down sit down you're rockin' the boat....
[00:39] <Cirrus> huh?
[00:39] * Avalanche grabs Cirrus and carries him out the door.
[00:39] <Cirrus> Whoa!
[00:39] [narration] conduits in the floor of the launch bay begin to EXPLODE.
[00:39] * Splitwit starts to swim, then remembers you can't swim in space.
[00:39] * Lifeblood drags a couple of other patients down the hall.
[00:39] * Comet checks a terminal to find a bay and runs to it.
[00:39] * Avalanche sets off at a lumbering sprint down the hallway.
[00:39] * Dark Force boards Ruse's shuttle.
[00:39] <Ruse> I've got room for a few more!
[00:39] * Outreach transforms, carrying one or two patients in his bed down to the shuttle bay, dropping them into an escape pod.
[00:39] * Solder starts loading patients into shuttles.
[00:39] * Autumn and Forerunner run down the halls, finding no spare pods on their level.
[00:40] * Talis finds a bot on the ground, missing an arm and foot up to the ankle. He grabs him, throws him over his shoulder and tries to get out of the immediate area.
[00:40] * BIT [DATA TRANSFER COMPLETE - LAUNCHING DATA BOUY]
[00:40] * BIT ejects in the data bouy.
[00:40] * Apocrypha preps her shuttle for launch, but waits for someone else to show up.
[00:40] * Comet skids into the shuttle bay and sees the commotion.
[00:40] <Admiral Lilwall> Come on Wait, time to go, we can't wait for everyone!
[00:40] * Talis hustles down the corridor.
[00:41] * Roadkill waits as long as possible with his shuttle in the flight deck...
[00:41] * Admiral Lilwall tries to drag Wait from the console.
[00:41] <Waitstate> I'm staying to the last minute. This is my dream, damnit!
[00:41] * Lifeblood trudges along.
[00:41] * Avalanche races through the hallways with Cirrus, trying to find a path to the evac pods not blocked by the results of an explosion.
[00:41] * Talis makes it to the shuttlebay and sees Roadkill near a shuttle.
[00:41] <Solder> Lifeblood! Outreach! Is that all of'em?
[00:41] <Admiral Lilwall> We have to go!
[00:41] * Lifeblood calls back to Solder. "I could use assistance with these three."
[00:41] * Anchor says "Screw you all" to pretty much no one and sets off into space with no one else on board.
[00:42] * Comet transforms into spaceship mode and waits for the bays to open.
[00:42] <Waitstate> you go! I'm right behind you
[00:42] * Forerunner, Autumn and soon after Goannis arrive to where Waitstate and Lilwall are.
[00:42] <Solder> Rightio, LB!
[00:42] * Solder sprints over and assists Lifeblood.
[00:42] <Waitstate> I'm perfectly capable of getting away under my own power, and you know it.
[00:42] <Roadkill> *spots Talis* C'mon, let's get a move on!
[00:42] * Lifeblood suddenly remembers to reactivate Knock-Off and orders him to help.
[00:42] * Splitwit catches a passing-by magazine clip and adds it to the underarm-pile.
[00:42] <Admiral Lilwall> Don't you damn well die on me! Autumn, Goannis, grab onto me!
[00:42] <Outreach> Solder! Lifeblood! Get these people out of here! I'm going to check the bridge!!!
[00:42] * Talis carries injured bot to Roadkill's shuttle.
[00:42] * Admiral Lilwall jumps the airlock and transforms.
[00:43] * Apocrypha waits...
[00:43] <Solder> Be careful, Outy...
[00:43] * Chameleon is knocked down and torn up as something in the hallway he's going down, explodes.
[00:43] * Autumn and Goannis jump out and each grab onto a wing.
[00:43] <Talis> There might be others! We nee--*hangar shakes with another explosion some decks nearby*
[00:43] * Knock-Off trundles pitifully down the hall from the burning medbay, one broken track trailing behind it.
[00:43] <Forerunner> If you can you fly boss guy, I'll hitch a ride!
[00:44] <Solder> Aw, poor lil' Knock-Off...
[00:44] * Talis waits through the shaking, then goes back down the corridor.
[00:44] * Avalanche stops as the hallway he was running down explodes further down, then turns around takes a detour.
[00:44] <Outreach> I'm always careful, Solder.
[00:44] * Outreach runs up to Waitstate and Forerunner "Waitstate, sir! We have to get out of here!"
[00:44] <Diecast> care to launch this tub, Roadkill?
[00:44] * Hitchhike runs up to where Wait is.
[00:44] <Waitstate> Go on ahead, damnit!
[00:44] * Waitstate pushes them away.
[00:44] <Hithchike> we've got a half empty pod that needs filling, come on!
[00:44] * Ghoststalker runs into the flight deck and rushes into the nearest shuttle.
[00:44] * Comet decides to be useful, transforms back, and goes to attempt to help loading the various shuttles.
[00:45] <Avalanche> Maybe you'd be better off just going out an airlock. I don't know if we'll be able to make it in time like this...
[00:45] * Apocrypha gives up and launches.

[00:47] * Diecast flips the coin around in his fingers, showing it to Roadkill "Well, it's a two-sided coin."
[00:47] * Terrafirma boards one of the departing shuttles.
[00:47] <Solder> We need... stretchers.... next time... we get supplies....

[00:47] * Avalanche reaches a hallway with portholes, relieved that they've at least made it to the hull.
[00:47] * Talis too many corridors are ripped up as Talis tries to make detours. No one else is nearby--no telling if they're on the other side of the fires and debris.
[00:47] * Terra's carrying a patient or two.
[00:47] <Apocrypha> [open comm] Apocrypha to anyone. Where are we going?
[00:47] * Restore helps patients as best she can with her small body.
[00:48] * Hyperion jumps outta random airlock somewhere and transforms, moving to a safe distance.
[00:48] <Lifeblood> No time. Supplies damaged.
[00:48] * Talis runs down a clear corridor along the viewports, and spots Avalanche.
[00:48] <Lifeblood> Greatly miss changeform.
[00:48] <Talis> AVALANCHE, anyone else with you! *runs down the corridor from further down*
[00:48] <Waitstate> [comm, all crew] There's a planet below. Everyone, rendevouz there.
[00:48] * Splitwit floats aimlessly, watching the Freedom go down in flames as he tries to keep a grip on all his firearms.
[00:48] <Admiral Lilwall> [open comm] I'm transmitting coordinates we'll group at planetside.
[00:48] * Outreach sprints about, helping various pods and shuttle get people in them.
[00:48] <Avalanche> Just Cirrus! And we left a couple on the bridge! If you can make it up there, go find them!
[00:49] <Hitchhike> Thats it, lets! We can't wait anymore! *runs off*
[00:49] * Waitstate watches escape pods launch one by one.
[00:49] <Splitwit> But... if I try re-entry all my precious boom-sticks are gonna die...
[00:49] <Talis> On my way, need help getting out? *pulls out both chaincannons*
[00:49] * Splitwit bites his lip.
[00:49] <Slipstream> [comm] Roger that... *spots Splitwit floating aimlessly and flies towards him*

[00:49] * Forerunner follows Hitchhike back to the pod.
[00:49] * Comet looks for a terminal and finds one.
[00:49] * Lifeblood flinches as a hull-seal is compromised and air starts rushing out.

[00:50] * Avalanche sees an airlock just down the hall and dashes for it.
[00:50] * Comet finds lifesigns outside the bay deeper in the ship and runs off after them...

[00:50] * Splitwit waves to Slip, then fumbles to catch the rifle he let go of in doing so... "Hiya, Slippy-gal! Care to join me? We've got a kick ass view of the ship that couldn't sink."
[00:50] * Avalanche hits the door button and shoves Cirrus inside.
[00:50] * Talis makes his way to the bridge.
[00:50] * Ruse takes off with passangers.
[00:50] Cuffs> Launching!

[00:50] * Slipstream hovers near Splitwit and sighs. "Lovely view, innit?"
[00:50] <Avalanche> GO, Cirrus! And give my regards to Terra.

[00:50] * Splitwit is sitting cross-legged with various guns piled in his lap, happy as a clam ^_^
[00:50] * Avalanche slams the button and closes the door before he can argue.
[00:50] <Lifeblood> [comm] Lifeblood to bridge.
[00:51] * Cuffs launches his pod.
[00:51] * Cirrus bangs on the door
[00:51] * Outreach looks frantic, trying to save as many as possible...
[00:51] * Talis is forced to make detours, as the path to the bridge is obstructed by debris.
[00:51] * Avalanche shouts through the door. "GO!"
[00:51] * Avalanche hits the launch button.
[00:52] <Comet> [Open comm] Who's still on the bridge, or in corridors, or anywhere they need out of?
[00:52] * Cirrus is suddenly sucked into space through explosive decompression. He looks sadly at the small window as it starts to get smaller.
[00:52] <Lifeblood> [comm] Lifeblood to bridge.
[00:52] <Computer> Warning. Launch Bay decompression in T-minus 30 seconds.
[00:52] <Splitwit> So uh, we're s'posed to get back to the planet. You wanna give me a ride?
[00:52] * Talis tries to activate local comm station, but it's shorted out and can't respond.
[00:52] * Avalanche starts running down the hallway again, but with less urgency.
[00:53] <Solder> I don't think anyone's on the bridge!
[00:53] * Cirrus sighs internally, and transforms, heading for the planet below.
[00:53] * Roadkill waits patiently at his shuttle... then hears the warning and goes "aww shit..."
[00:53] <Diecast> NOW can we leave?
[00:53] <Lifeblood> Nor do I.
[00:53] <Computer> Warning. Launch Bay decompression in T-minus 15 seconds.
[00:53] <Lifeblood> I hope they have remembered to leave space for us.
[00:54] <Solder> Well...
[00:54] * Talis gets to the bridge to find no one there.
[00:54] [narration] various civs running to and in around the flight deck desperating try to get to a shuttle.
[00:54] <Solder> ...as long as they fit, y'know?
[00:54] <Roadkill> [comm] Talis, you'll have to find your own way out, we've got to bail!
[00:54] <Solder> Give your life so that they have theirs...
[00:54] <Computer> Decompression in T-minus 5 seconds.
[00:54] <Lifeblood> Restore, go on ahead. We can handle your patient, and the crew will require medical support even this group does not make it.
[00:54] * Outreach helps the civs into their shuttles, not daring to leave one behind..."Into the shuttles! Now NOW!
[00:54] * Comet runs around corridors looking for anyone.
[00:55] <Restore> you watch yourself! *gets into a pod*
[00:55] * Talis makes his way back to the hullside of the ship he found Avalanche.
[00:55] * Lifeblood shifts one of his current patients to his shoulder, and starts dragging Restore's by the wrist.
[00:55] [narration] A violent explosion rips through the wall next to Avalanche, tearing another hole in the ship and hurling him out into space.
[00:56] * Talis turns a corner and ends up in a corridor leading into a T-section with a viewport at the end.
[00:56] [narration] Explosions occur all through the ship, inside and out.
[00:56] <Splitwit> ooc Ai mi amore!
[00:56] <Comet> ...wait...
[00:56] <Comet> ...NO!
[00:56] * Splitwit points at the ship "Now THAT is cool looking"
[00:56] * Comet transforms and speeds back to the shuttle bay.
[00:56] <Comet> Can't... survive... re-entry....
[00:56] * Talis is rocked by more explosions, but still manages to keep hold of his chaincannons as he fires forward at the inside hull of the ship.
[00:57] * Roadkill waits till the last second, then shuts the shuttle doors and drops down into the pilot seat as the flight deck decompresses.
[00:57] <Solder> Well, Lifeblood?
[00:57] * Solder continues hauling....
[00:57] <Lifeblood> There should be a bank of escape pods just beyond this turn.
[00:57] * Outreach is blown into space, screaming, spiraling away from the ship....
[00:57] <Solder> Oh, heh! I jus' thought that's what y'say in a time like this...
[00:57] <Comet> ...noooooo!!!!
[00:57] * Roadkill launches his shuttle and zooms out of the ship, zoom!
[00:57] * Comet just makes it into the shuttle bay.
[00:57] [narration] Anyone on the flight deck and not in a shuttle gets sucked into space.
[00:57] [narration] the viewport smashes after multiple impacts, the vacuum of space taking care of everything else.
[00:58] * Comet is sucked into space.
[00:58] <Lifeblood> You may be right.
[00:58] * The power flickers and dies, leaving the Freedom in total darkness.
[00:58] <Lifeblood> Now may very well be the time for last words.
[00:58] <Waitstate> No!

[00:59] * Admiral Lilwall flies around outside the ship after dropping off Goannis and Autumn Beauty on the planet and starts to pick up bots flaoting helplessly in the void.

[01:03] * Talis is battered anyway from the pirate attack (has thick armor that isn't easily repaired, plus didn't bother to check in earlier} and is now crushed-looking in his vehicle-mode's nose section.

[01:11] * Outreach's shattered optics sputter on and off, he looks up, eyes wideining when Comet mentions that Outreach rescued him, he smiles, but looks unable to say anything.

[02:17] * Outreach's eyes boot up, and he comes back on line, but is in recharge mode at the moment.
[02:17] * Gearlock cricks his neck a bit and rolls his shoulders, which click somewhat. "Ahh, yeah. Better than standing around looking confused..." he smirks.

[02:20] * Slipstream climbs to a high altitude and starts scanning, trying to find Waitstate...
[02:20] <Sarah> I was walking to class when he crashed, right in the street in front of me. I ran over, and I could tell...he was alive, but he was hurt. So I wanted to help, and...honestly, I've never seen mechanoids like any of you before.

[02:21] <Comet> I wanna check up on Outreach...
[02:21] * Gearlock zips along at a lower height, keeping Slip in his sights as he searches for Waitstate...
[02:21] * Sarah looks up at Cirrus and Comet. "Should I come with you?"
[02:22] <Cirrus> Uhh... we better take ya over to a doc.
[02:22] * Cirrus looks around and sees Terra working with medical stuff.

[02:22] <Comet> Oh, I thought you were talking to.. uh, the big guy.

[02:22] * Comet looks at Cirrus.
[02:22] <Cirrus> Admiral Lilwall?

[02:23] * Cirrus leads them over to where Terra's working
[02:23] * Ghoststalker keeps moving back until she ends up with her back against a shuttle. She quickly takes her optics off Roadkill to look around, then looks at him once again.

[02:23] [narration] The boy sees a plume of smoke over the hill and goes to investigate.

[02:24] * Jak heads back to Apocrypha and they transform to robot mode, going to find Lil.
[02:24] <Cirrus> Uh... Terra? This lady was over by where Avy crashed, and she might be radiated and stuff.
[02:24] <Terra> Hmm... you're human, aren't you?
[02:24] * Roadkill doesn't move towards Ghost, just extends a hand to her. "Come on, Ghost, you can't help Cham if you just stand there... let's go to the medics..."
[02:25] <Sarah> Yes...
[02:25] <Terra> From what I read, I didn't think there were any humans this far out. Then again, there wasn't a planet here last I checked, soo...
[02:25] <Comet> Her hand was burnt, too.
[02:26] * Terra reconfigures her scanner for humans.
[02:26] <Sarah> They brought me here. I think we travelled a little way here from where I live...
[02:27] [narration] The boy gets closer and sees a mass of black metal.
[02:27] * Slipstream continues to search in a sweeping pattern, Gear flying just off her wing.
[02:27] [narration] It's banged up pretty bad, and a few windows are busted up, but still, the boy reacts... "Cool, a car!"
[02:28] * Terra nods and scans.
[02:28] <Comet> Is she gonna be okay?
[02:28] * Ghoststalker lowers one hand, but pops out the fingerblades. She's messed and probably doesn't believe Roadkill.
[02:29] <Terra> Luckily, she seems to have escaped without any dangerous exposure. *to Sarah* I'm afraid I'm not equipped treat your hand though.
[02:29] * Talis flies to the Medicamp with another body, and lets it go lightly before flying off again.
[02:29] <Sarah> That's okay, it's not too bad...
[02:29] <Terra> I imagine you can patch the internal leakage with a strip of the fabric you're wearing though.

[02:29] <Cirrus> Her clothes!
[02:30] * Comet fails to understand Cirrus' amusement...

[02:30] [narration] The boy inspects the banged up car. He wonders where it came from, but he figures finders, keepers!
[02:31] * Sarah takes off her blouse, leaving an undershirt, and tears a bit off for her hand.

[02:31] [narration The driver's side door is jammed shut, but the passenger's side opens up with minimal trouble.

[02:35] * Roadkill slowly moves closer to Ghost, keeping a wary eye on her.

[02:36] * Comet remembers Outreach and puts an arm around Cirrus's shoulders.

[02:36] <Admiral Lilwall> Unless you wanted to round up a ground based search team, most of the work is up for the medics I imagine.
[02:36] [narration] He pokes around the really neat, if slightly busted, dash, hoping to find a key or something.

[02:36] * Talis flies back into camp, tractors down some debris he found in a crater, then transforms.
[02:37] * Talis picks up the components he tractored in and piles them together.
[02:37] * Ghoststalker does nothing for a while, then takes a swipe at Roadkill with her bladed hand.
[02:37] <Slipstream> [comm] Talis, there's two dead in a pod at these coordinates... *sends them* I just remembered... you might want to bring them back in, maybe the meds can use them...
[02:38] <Talis> [comm] I'll check on it. I just brought in the remains of someone. I can't identify who it might be. I'm back at medicamp.
[02:38] * Roadkill quickly leans back out of range of Ghost's blades "whoa, hey, easy there..."
[02:38] [narration] The boy finds what looks like an I/O port, just like the one his data port uses.
[02:39] <Admiral-Lilwall> Try Roadkill, or some of Dark Force, they seem to be in decent shape.
[02:39] * Talis transforms and flies to the coordinates Slipstream gave him
[02:39] * Gearlock continues his sweep of the landscape...
[02:39] [narration] The boy gets the 'port out of his backpack and puts it on, then hooks it in.
[02:40] * Ghoststalker brought her hand back to her side too quickly, and ended up tearing off a nice chunk of her side with her fingerblades. She doesn't seem to notice that it happened.
[02:40] * Talis flies over the crashed pod, grabs it with a tractorbeam, and begins hauling it home.

[02:41] * Comet idly looks up at the sky.
[02:41] * Roadkill shakes his head, then just steps in and scoops up Ghost, risking the blades. ^_^; "C'mon."

[02:41] [narration] The boy is suprised to find the I/O port is active, but all he gets at first is static. It gives him a headache.
[02:42] <Comet> Judging by the glance I caught at this planet's star during the evacuation...
[02:42] * Apocrypha moves around the camp, looking for walking, unoccupied land-goers.
[02:42] <Comet> ...and the size it appears to be here relative to that, and also for color...
[02:42] * Comet does some calculations.

[02:42] * Comet sprints over to the Admiral.

[02:43] [narration] The boy feels like he blacked out for a second, but when he looks again, the car has started! It doesn't sound good though...

[02:43] * Roadkill winces a bit but otherwise ignores the blades and carts Ghoststalker over to the medics.
[02:44] <Gearlock> gonna drop in for a closer look...
[02:44] <Comet> Comet, sir. Well, uh, sir, by my, ah, c-calculations, sir... it will, ah, be nightfall in about one cycle. If it's relef- relef- important, sir.

[02:45] * Talis finally gets to medicamp and sets the pod with two dead bots inside, Hitchhike and Forerunner.
[02:45] [narration] That doesnt stop him from trying though, and the black, banged up sports car starts lurching across the desert. "Wooohooo!"

[02:45] * Comet goes back over to Cirrus and Sarah.
[02:45] * Gearlock skims over the desert near the visible object and lands neatly with a huff of air. He unfolds into botmode and moves over to the sad, crumpled remains...
[02:45] * Apocrypha has a lot of trouble finding anyone who's not at least racing around trying to help.

[02:46] [narration] Meanwhile, Waitstate's autonomic systems, now functional, activate a locator beacon.
[02:46] * Solder has decided Outreach is okay sleeping now, and started moving around and tending to whomever needs tending.
[02:46] * Talis transforms and heads over to Solder.
[02:46] * Crosswire wanders around, wishing she could do more to help.
[02:46] <Talis> Solder, I've got two dead bots inside that pod, and the remains of someone else near it. If we...if you need the spare parts...
[02:46] [narration] Waitstate is driven, clumsily, into town.

[02:47] * Solder pieces together a mostly-functional body out of two robo-corpses, slaps Lifeblood's head on top, then wires it together and switches him on.

[02:48] * Roadkill sighs, then manages to pry Ghoststalker off and deposit her near the medics before heading back to retreive the Champieces.

[02:50] <Flashpoint`> * Ghoststalker gets onto her feet and rushes after Roadkill while leaking from her self inflicted wound.

[02:51] * Roadkill scoops up the Chambits and turns around, then spots Ghost rushing towards him. "aw, crud. Ghost, calm down already!"

[02:52] * Lifeblood grinds noisily to his borrowed feet.

[03:18] * Comet wanders over to the doctors.
[03:18] * Sarah nods. "I'll do it."
[03:18] * Slipstream stands up and steps back a bit to give the squishy some room and stuff.
[03:18] <Adam Marshall> no way! I found it, it's my car now!
[03:18] * Gearlock makes a screechy, grinding sort of noise as he attempts to transform... his wings fold back but seem to be stuck...
[03:18] * Comet finds Outreach and sprints over to him.
[03:18] <Gearlock> ...ahhh, bugger...
[03:18] <Slipstream> ... oh, not AGAIN, Gearlock...
[03:19] <Comet> Hey... you, big ugly green guy!
[03:19] * Solder looks up.
[03:19] <Comet> How's this one?
[03:19] <Gearlock> wait wait, just a second... I can do this...
[03:19] * Slipstream snickers slightly, then strides over to Gearlock and gives him a hefty kick somewhere.
[03:19] <Solder> He's asleep. He'll be fine.
[03:19] <Restore> Ok, just hop up onto this table and we can get started.
[03:19] * Solder mutters "varmint."
[03:19] <Comet> Cool!
[03:19] * Gearlock grinds a bit more when suddenly Slip's kick pops him back into shape. He staggers backward a bit, blinking.
[03:19] * Comet sits down next to Outreach and waits.
[03:19] <Gearlock> ah... ow. Thank you.
[03:20] * Sarah follows orders, hoping that her assumption that anesthetics would be in service is a valid one.
[03:20] <Slipstream> *dryly* No worries. *glances back to Waitstate and the squishy...*
[03:20] * Gearlock moves over to Wait and kneels down a bit to get a better look at Adam...
[03:21] * Slipstream just stands in the background, arms folded. Meat creatures, urgh.
[03:21] <Adam Marshall> Ahh! Another one!
[03:21] * Gearlock smiles faintly, looking down at the kid. "Hello... Adam Marshall, is it...?"
[03:22] * Adam Marshall nods. And goes paler.
[03:22] * Restore numbs out all feeling in Sarah then begins to bioengineer her.
[03:22] <Gearlock> no need to worry there kiddo, we're just here to rescue our friend. He just happens to be the car you're sitting in.
[03:23] <Adam Marshall> You're friends with a car?
[03:23] <Admiral Lilwall> [comm to all search parties] Any sign of Waitstate?
[03:23] <Gearlock> he's more than just a car...
[03:23] * Gearlock lets Slip handle the comm.
[03:24] <Gearlock> he's one of us. You know, giant transforming robot.
[03:25] <Slipstream> [comm] We've found Waitstate...
[03:25] <Adam Marshall> oh... wow
[03:25] <Slipstream> [comm] he's got some squishy sitting in him though. Gearlock's dealing with it.
[03:25] * Adam Marshall has a little bit of trouble with this, so he just accepts it.
[03:25] <Gearlock> there's a chance that he's actually quite badly hurt, though. He might not look like it, but he's not responding when we try to talk to him, so we need to take him somewhere where he can be properly repaired.
[03:26] <Admiral-Lilwall> [comm] Get him back here on the double.
[03:26] <Adam Marshall> oh...
[03:26] <Slipstream> [comm] Right, will do...
[03:26] <Adam Marshall> I can drive him there!
[03:26] <Adam Marshall> I drove him before anyway...
[03:26] <Slipstream> Gearlock, we gotta get him back to the others ASAP.
[03:26] <Slipstream> ... driving would be too slow, and could damage him more...
[03:27] * Gearlock slowly holds up a hand as if to signal Slip to hold on a sec. He doesn't wanna make any sudden moves to surprise the meat thing, after all.
[03:27] <Adam Marshall> oh
[03:27] <Adam Marshall> how're you going to get him there then?
[03:27] <Gearlock> so if you'll just step out of the vehicle... hopefully we can tow him or even fly him out of here...
[03:28] <Adam Marshall> no way!
[03:28] * Roadkill has, in the meantime, finally managed to get both Ghoststalker and the Chambits to the medics. :P
[03:28] <Gearlock> are you sure?
[03:28] * Adam Marshall holds on to the steering wheel like it's the only thing anchoring him in reality.
[03:28] <Slipstream> Urg, forget about the squishy, Gear, let's just get Wait back to the others.
[03:28] <Gearlock> I'll give you a second chance to think it over before we take drastic measures, Adam Marshall.
[03:29] * Slipstream transforms and hovers there.
[03:29] <Gearlock> your second chance will last about five seconds.
[03:29] <Gearlock> five...
[03:29] <Gearlock> four...
[03:29] <Solder> Hey, Lifeblood, you want me to see what I can do about that limp?
[03:29] * Adam Marshall whimpers and covers his head.
[03:29] <Gearlock> threeee....
[03:29] <Lifeblood> I function. There are others who require our attention.
[03:29] * Gearlock stands up. "Two..."
[03:29] <Gearlock> ....two and a half...
[03:29] * Solder shrugs. "If you say so."
[03:30] * Solder goes back to work.
[03:30] <Slipstream> Gearlock, stop teasing the thing and let's go already.
[03:30] <Gearlock> alright, your choice, kid.
[03:30] <Gearlock> we gonna fly him or tow him or carry him?
[03:31] <Slipstream> You got any cables? I think it'd be easiest if we just slung him under me or something. I can carry that much weight, no problem.
[03:31] <Gearlock> we can distribute the weight evenly between us. Here...
[03:31] * Gearlock unsubs a coil of cable and some rigging gear, and starts hooking Waitstate up.
[03:32] * Adam Marshall holds on tight as the car- Waitstate, shakes.
[03:32] * Gearlock waves for Slip to hover down a bit so he can reach up and attach the cableage and gear to her...
[03:32] * Slipstream moves into place, hovering neatly.
[03:33] * Adam Marshall watches in awe as the giant space fighter hovers above him.
[03:34] [narration] People come out their homes eventually and see strange aircraft snatching up a busted car. The people react in panic.
[03:34] * Slipstream ignores the stupid screaming meatsacks and resists the urge to shoot something.
[03:34] * Gearlock finishes rigging and steps back. "You sure you can carry him on your own? I can't really rig myself up to help you lift..."
[03:35] * Gearlock looks around at the noisy humans, looking mildly apprehensive. Embarassed, even.
[03:35] <Slipstream> I'm sure, thanks Gearlock... *starts hovering higher, the cables tensing as they take Waitstate's weight*
[03:35] * Gearlock helps to steady Wait so that he doesn't rock or swing too much on lift off...
[03:35] * Slipstream rises slowly, then starts moving forwards. "Just make sure he doesn't... fall out, or anything."
[03:36] <Gearlock> I'll be right under you. Oh, and watch it, the human is still in him.
[03:36] * Adam Marshall watches as the ground receeds below him. It's... fun!
[03:37] * Gearlock hopes he doesn't get stuck again as he shifts back to flightmode... but he manages it well enough
[03:43] * Gearlock flies off after Slip.
