Session Start: Sun Feb 16 00:07:00 2003
[00:07] <Admiral Lilwall> [comm] Security teams sweep through the ship and check for pirate left behinds.
[00:08] * Waitstate is in the station's command deck, coordinating with Apocrypha to find a cure for Lifeblood, as well as any other useful tech or info.
[00:08] <Admiral Lilwall> [comm] All crew assistant any wounded crew to medbay and begin repairs.
[00:08] <Solder> Primus to gods! Look AT this mess!
[00:08] * Solder trots off to Medbay to wait on the entire crew.
[00:08] <Apocrypha> I don't suppose we have any computer specialists or anything we could bring over, do we?
[00:09] * Slipstream is hiding out in the flight deck.
[00:09] * Outreach is injured...and doesnt know where he is. O_O
[00:09] <Waitstate> Apoc, you forget who you're talking to.
[00:09] * Earshot sits in the command deck, looking over the blueprints of the station and other misc things.
[00:10] * Avalanche is helping with the cleanup.
[00:10] * Redliner is also hanging out on bridge, because no one's bothered to kick his useless ass out yet.
[00:10] * Thrashmane is in the medbay, his wound patched up better but still needing a new arm.
[00:10] <Apocrypha> Well, um, I realize. I just know you've got, you know, a whole ship to worry about.
[00:10] * Gearlock is helping with cleanup.
[00:10] * Roadkill is still at his station on the bridge, making sure Red doesn't press anything that'll make the ship blow up or something.
[00:11] * Diecast does what he can to make sure things are all in order.
[00:11] <Admiral Lilwall> Keep scanners watching for those pirates, Cirrus, in case they decide to come back.
[00:11] <Waitstate> I have a competent crew, believe it or not. I'm really not the best man for the job over there in this situation, but I definitely am here.
[00:11] * Redliner peers over Roadkill's shoulder. "So hey, okay, this glowing thing here, it's a button, right? Or is it supposed to flash ike that?"
[00:11] <Solder> Restore? You in here anywhere? Anybody?
[00:12] * Flashpoint wanders into the flight deck to see if Chameleon or Ghost have come back from the station yet.
[00:12] * Outreach holds the stub of his hand, welding it closed and making sure he's in proper working order.
[00:12] <Apocrypha> Well, maybe you can make some more sense out of how this interface works.
[00:12] <Admiral Lilwall> Roadkill, take over here and look after the radio chatter. Redliner, get out and help everyone else with the clean up and help any casualties.
[00:12] <Apocrypha> It's really obtuse.
[00:12] <Redliner> awww!
[00:12] * Roadkill just eyes Red for a moment, then gets up, picks up the bikebot by the shoulders, and carts him out of the bridge.
[00:12] * Restore somewhere workin on wounded, meddrones elsewhere working on wounded. Medbay is overall busy.
[00:13] <Redliner> awk... hey! ahh! *is dropped out*
[00:13] <Solder> Aha.
[00:13] <Waitstate> definitely not up to modern user interface standards, definitely.
[00:13] <Solder> I'ma go make sure no-bot's bleedin' t'death all over the upholstery, eh? An' help with the cleanup. Holler if y'need me?
[00:13] <Waitstate> Hm... the translation patch is holding at least. I'll see if I can reconfigure the displays. Not much to do about the hardware interfaces though.
[00:13] * Admiral Lilwall heads for the plaza.
[00:14] * Redliner sighs, shrugging his shoulders a bit. Then he takes off at a run down the hall to see if he can intercept anyone that needs help moving or repairing things...
[00:14] * Roadkill goes over and takes a look at the radio chatter like Lilwall asked him too. >:)
[00:14] <Restore> Tag any major cases you find so we can work on them first when they arrive, Solder.
[00:14] * Cirrus scans.
[00:14] * Cirrus is bored.
[00:14] <Redliner> doot doot dee doo!
[00:15] <Solder> Aye-aye, capitan!
[00:15] * Solder heads out.
[00:15] * Earshot records all misc stuff for later, then just hangs out at the command deck.
[00:15] <Redliner> Plastic Fantastic World! Je t'ai vu! On c'est reconnu!
[00:15] * Slipstream is currently sitting around on the flight deck in her alt mode... she seems to be snoozing. -_- zzz.
[00:15] <Redliner> Alon's! Bienvenue~!
[00:15] * Talis is helping clean up sections of the ship, putting his heavy-lifting ability to good use.
[00:16] <Waitstate> There, I've installed a nice little overlay... *the screens blink out, then flash back on sporting an interface similar to the Freedom's computer systems.*
[00:16] * Chameleon and Ghoststalker are sitting around somewhere on the stations command deck, keeping quiet and out of the way.
[00:16] <Apocrypha> Okay, that makes a little more sense.
[00:16] * Solder wanders the halls outside Medbay.
[00:16] <Solder> ...I wonder if...
[00:16] * Solder activates a terminal.
[00:17] <Solder> Hello, computer! How are YOU today?
[00:17] <Waitstate> If you really HAVE to, I could probably retrieve a terminal from the Freedom and wire it in. But I'd rather not if I didnt need to.
[00:17] * Download cleans up the smashed tables and chairs and glass stuff etc in the bar.
[00:17] * Redliner continues singing his off-key, boring song in French as he jogs down the corridor...
[00:17] [narration] The computer brings up a simplified damage report display.
[00:17] * Outreach wonders into the command deck "is anyone in here in need of medical attention?"
[00:17] <Redliner> doo doot dee doo! Hey there, missed a spot!
[00:17] <Solder> Could you, by chance, happen to possibly scan the ship for injured Transformer lifeforms? Overlay it on a map? With fries on the side?
[00:17] * Admiral Lilwall arrives at the mess that is the plaza.
[00:18] * Redliner waves at Twilight as he jogs past.
[00:18] * Redliner finds himself at flight deck...
[00:19] * Flashpoint looks around the flight deck and notices Slipstream there in alt mode. He heads over and gives her a poke.
[00:19] * Drillmaster throws some debris into a trash receptacle.
[00:19] <Apocrypha> By the way, Waitstate...
[00:19] * Slipstream is poked! "nrrrg... wstflgl?"
[00:19] <Solder> Computer?
[00:19] * Redliner stops for a moment to look around. He spots Flashpoint and Slip...
[00:19] <Solder> Hello, computer?
[00:19] * Solder tries the keyboard.
[00:20] [narration] The computer brings up a map with several areas highlighted. Several other areas are completely dark.
[00:20] <Drillmaster> We had a hard enough time keeping the Plaza clean without this.
[00:20] <Waitstate> Yeah?
[00:20] <Solder> Crikey!
[00:20] <Slipstream> mwrrg. Oh, heya dragondude. *yawns* Whassup?
[00:20] * Admiral Lilwall helps with the clean up in the plaza
[00:20] <Apocrypha> I don't know if you're familiar at all with Deathsaurus. But it gives us a minimum age for this thing.
[00:20] * Roadkill does his communications thing on the bridge, whee.
[00:20] <Apocrypha> Although I'd guess from what we know about him, um, it's probably a lot older than that.
[00:20] * Solder downloads an image of the first highlight to his own files and sprints off towards the first one.
[00:20] <Solder> The big clouds must be concentrations...
[00:20] * Roadkill is really just looking for the universe's Top 100 Chart.
[00:20] [narration] The computer indicates the highlights are life signs, while the dark areas are areas where sensors are offline. Approximately 1/10 of the ship is darkened.
[00:21] * Thrashmane shifts.
[00:21] <Waitstate> I can't say I know of him. what sort of age are we talking here?
[00:21] * Forerunner helps walk another civilian buddy of his down towards medbay.
[00:22] <Flashpoint> Not too much right now. *Sits on the floor.* Mostly just came in here to see if Cham or Ghost were back yet, but it seems they're still there.
[00:22] <Slipstream> Nope, they're still at the station. *yawns again, then detects Redliner* Oh hey, 'ullo Red.
[00:22] * Redliner steps out onto flight deck, giving Flash and Slip a wave. ^_^ "Hey!"
[00:22] <Admiral Lilwall> [comm] Roadkill, activate all our available drones and set them to maintainence.
[00:23] <Roadkill> [comm] Roger that. *does so*
[00:23] <Redliner> so how was it?! How many didja guys frag?!
[00:23] <Apocrypha> Well, he was a pretty high-ranking Decepticon, starting around eight million years ago.
[00:23] * Powerplay and Line-In check over Powerplay's store and see how much damage was done.
[00:24] <Apocrypha> Sometime around four million, he left Cybertron in some of the last big starships the Decepticons had at the time.
[00:24] * Snake-Eyes cleans up the mess in her store, leaving the two dead pirates on her floor well alone.
[00:24] <Flashpoint> Enough, it seems.
[00:24] * Solder finds wounded in the corridor and begins treating them.
[00:24] <Apocrypha> I would have GUESSED he was coming back here, but...well...he had four million years. And apparently didn't make it.
[00:24] <Apocrypha> So who knows where he is now?
[00:25] <Apocrypha> Anyway, that means this can't be any more recent than four million years old. But there's no way he had this kind of materiel that late in the war...
[00:25] <Slipstream> Buggered if I know. Too many. *still has some nice friendly holes in her wings and other assorted minor damage*
[00:25] <Waitstate> Unfortunately, for all we know he's on the deck below us. Unless we can get the internal sensors under control
[00:25] <Apocrypha> And the only other time he's missing from the records for any meaningful length of time was about six and a half million years ago.
[00:25] * Cuffs enters Snake-Eyes' store and drags the pirates out for her.
[00:25] <Redliner> what about you!? *turns to Flashpoint*
[00:26] * Forerunner enters medbay, along with numerous other bots.
[00:26] <Slipstream> Yeah, how'd the rest of your team go, dragondude?
[00:26] <Apocrypha> Could be. That nutcase the pirates killed doesn't make it seem too likely, though.
[00:26] <Waitstate> How are you doing with the database? Any indication of a cure?
[00:26] <Restore> [comm] Terrafirma, if its not too much trouble, I could use your assistance in medbay.
[00:27] <Apocrypha> Anyway. Long story short, this place slightly antedates the old Autobot space station.
[00:27] <Waitstate> I'd hate to think that we went through all this and fpund nothing.
[00:27] <Apocrypha> But not by too much.
[00:27] <Apocrypha> So, um, it's not impossible that they might have information on the virus.
[00:27] * Solder welds arms back on, rivets wall-panels over holes, re-routes circuits and fluid lines...
[00:27] <Flashpoint> We slagged enough of them I suppose. A little help wouldn't have hurt, but I guess everyone was too busy.
[00:27] * Thrashmane perks up. "... Where's Sunny?"
[00:27] * Redliner won't say that he got lost and slept through half of it.
[00:27] <Redliner> rough.
[00:27] <Terrafirma> [comm] Hm, well, I have a nasty mess in here... but I'm on my way.
[00:27] <Redliner> so what was out there?
[00:27] <Slipstream> Busy's the word for it. *would roll her optics if she were in bot mode, but she's not, so just settles for shifting her wings a bit in a kind of starfighter shrug.*
[00:28] <Solder> Man, Big Boss is soooo gonna have my derrier for "borrowin'" all these wall panels...
[00:28] * Ruse removes various items from pirate bodies in the plaza.
[00:28] * Terra closes up her shop and heads out, doing her best to avoid the repair crews.
[00:28] <Apocrypha> So, uh...yeah. I'll keep looking.
[00:29] <Slipstream> Pirates and stuff. Bastards.
[00:30] * Earshot passes the time reading up on some new surveillance tech.
[00:30] * Restore looks around the way too busy medbay.
[00:30] * Terra heads for a lift and finds it busted, so she heads to a different lift.
[00:30] <Solder> [comm] I just got a great idea! So I've been watchin' too much Earth culture stuff...
[00:30] <Waitstate> Heyy... *there is a sound of power coming on, and the lights get noticably brighter*
[00:31] * Flashpoint lies back on the floor and looks up at the ceiling. "Hopefully they won't be returning anytime soon."
[00:31] <Waitstate> I think I got main power running.
[00:31] <Redliner> yeah, no kiddin.
[00:31] <Restore> [comm] Solder, Outreach, medbay is too busy, I'm going to need you guys back here.
[00:31] <Slipstream> Eh, if they do, we'll kick their asses in again. *starfighter-shrugs*
[00:31] * Redliner leans on Slip!
[00:31] <Apocrypha> Maybe if you can activate the engines, we can fly back home in this.
[00:31] * Slipstream is leaned on. -_-;
[00:31] <Slipstream> Hey, watch the laser burn, Red.
[00:31] <Solder> [comm] ....we're like those lost boys! In Nietchland or wherever! We kill pirates! :D Um, except... well, except for the girls, who obviously can't be lost boys... or something....
[00:31] <Waitstate> Maybe...
[00:31] <Solder> [comm] nevermind.
[00:31] <Outreach> [comm] understood, Restore.
[00:31] * Solder switches the comm off and goes back to work.
[00:32] * Waitstate pulls up navigational control.
[00:32] <Redliner> oh, sorry.
[00:32] * Redliner leans off.
[00:32] * Outreach tries to find way over to Freedom ^^;
[00:32] <Redliner> does that hurt bad?
[00:32] * Redliner leans forward to poke at Slip's wound tentatively.
[00:33] <Slipstream> Eh, I've had worse-- but don't poke it again, please.
[00:33] <Waitstate> These star maps are totally out of date, but I'm going to try inputting a course anyway, just to see if I can.
[00:33] <Redliner> ack, sorry.
[00:33] * Forerunner pushes through and out of medbay to go help elsewhere.
[00:33] <Redliner> the whole ship's a mess. Everything went totally cracky, it was awesome!
[00:35] <Slipstream> ... I guess awesome could cover it, yes.
[00:35] <Redliner> first the lights and then the gravity, Primus, it was cool.
[00:35] <Waitstate> course plotted, layed in...
[00:35] <Waitstate> slag!
[00:35] <Redliner> I was wandering around in the dark in zero-G for like... I dunno.
[00:35] <Flashpoint> I don't know if I'd call this awesome...
[00:35] * Redliner bores Flashpoint and Slipstream with his inane chatter.
[00:35] <Apocrypha> "Slag"?
[00:35] <Waitstate> yeah
[00:35] <Slipstream> The gravity thing didn't bother me much. *activates her repulsors and hovers off the floor* >:)
[00:36] <Redliner> neat!
[00:36] * Crosswire completes some circuit repairs in her work section, but decides the trashed consoles can wait till later.
[00:36] * Slipstream chuckles slightly and drifts around a bit.
[00:36] <Waitstate> looks like the engines can only be brought online by someone with the proper keycode. I'm not sure if it's a physical object, a plain code, some sort of biometrics, or what yet.
[00:36] * Crosswire moves out of her work station and into the hall.
[00:37] <Slipstream> So where were you during most the fighting anyway?
[00:37] <Redliner> uhhhhh.
[00:37] <Redliner> some...where...
[00:37] <Redliner> had to run around a lot just to find anyone.
[00:37] * Terrafirma arrives in Medbay.
[00:37] <Terrafirma> Sorry for the delay Doc, but the mess out there was just awful.
[00:38] <Solder> [comm] I.. just had a terrible thought.
[00:38] <Slipstream> *laughs* Slept through most of it, aye?
[00:38] <Solder> [comm] We didn't lose anyone through a hull breach, did we?
[00:39] <Waitstate> Give me time and I may be able to bypass it, but it looks like it's a core security system. It won't be easy to do.
[00:39] <Apocrypha> Hmm. It looks like there's some kind of local medbay a couple decks below us.
[00:39] <Slipstream> Oh hey, how's the rest of your team, dragondude? Any major damage?
[00:39] <Restore> Start on the crowd over there. *points* Their wounds aren't as big a deal, and won't take too long to handle. The quicker they get cleared out, the better. The rest of us will try and get through the more severe cases.
[00:39] <Apocrypha> They might have antidotes and, um, stuff down there.
[00:39] <Terrafirma> *nods* Right.
[00:39] * Solder has made his way to the Plaza.
[00:39] * Terrafirma begins treating the injured
[00:39] <Outreach> [comm] Restore....*sigh* I cant help you. I can't get over to the Freedom.
[00:39] <Solder> Anyone here bleedin'?
[00:40] * Redliner shrugs and looks mildly embarassed. ^_^;
[00:40] <Flashpoint> Well, one of Firestorms tanks went off, so he got a bit slagged from that. Arashi too.
[00:40] <Waitstate> Alright.
[00:40] <Restore> [comm] Acknowledged.
[00:40] <Slipstream> Ouch... still can't get Firey to get his tanks upgraded, neh?
[00:40] <Flashpoint> Star's pretty much fine though, just a few minor things here and there.
[00:41] * Redliner listens with interest.
[00:41] <Waitstate> I think I can keep access to the computer through the station's systems, assuming they havent been damaged where we're going.
[00:41] <Slipstream> Ah, that's good... *settles back down to the deck and cuts off her repulsors*
[00:41] <Flashpoint> He probably could. Might be worth talking about it with him sometime.
[00:41] <Solder> Helloooooooo? Is the Plaza dead? Um, empty? Sorry..
[00:41] * Admiral Lilwall turns to Solder, "No major worries here, Solder."
[00:41] <Solder> ...ah.
[00:41] <Slipstream> I think talkin' with him about it would be a good idea.
[00:41] <Solder> Shouldn't ye be on the bridge, Sir?
[00:41] * Redliner takes a step back as Slip comes back down...
[00:41] <Slipstream> It's always fun when you get KO'd by your own weapon...
[00:41] [narration] Drones throughout the ship work on repairing damage.
[00:41] <Waitstate> Shall we?
[00:42] * Solder heads for the hangers.
[00:42] * Waitstate motions grandly toward the hole in the wall
[00:42] <Apocrypha> Um, you're the boss.
[00:42] <Admiral Lilwall> The bridge can fine for now, there's other work to be done in the meantime.
[00:42] <Flashpoint> *shrugs* It's happened to him enough time before.
[00:42] <Slipstream> Heh, you'd think he would've learnt by now... ah well.
[00:43] <Admiral Lilwall> [comm] Roadkill, have received a full damage report yet?
[00:43] <Roadkill> [comm] Not yet, I'm still working on it...
[00:43] * Solder arrives at the hanger.
[00:43] <Solder> Y'ello!
[00:44] <Solder> Anyone need a doc?
[00:44] * Flashpoint sits up. "Usually he does a decent job of staying out of trouble. There were just so many of the pirates though, and Firey isn't the fastest of us either."
[00:44] <Roadkill> [comm] I can't get a full report because of damage to the internal sensors, but I'm getting what I can.
[00:44] <Slipstream> Yeah, I can imagine... *notices Solder enter the flight deck* Oh, heya doc. Naw, I think we're pretty right here for the moment.
[00:45] <Solder> Hrn. Well, does anyone know anywhere that anyone does need someone?
[00:45] <Waitstate> do you know the way to the medbay?
[00:45] * Crosswire helps with repair work on the plaza.
[00:45] <Ruse> I could use some help putting the junk I got from the Plaza into my ship!
[00:45] <Flashpoint> In medbay, perhaps?
[00:45] <Apocrypha> Yeah, should be easy to get to.
[00:45] <Solder> Yeah, there's 'bots workin' their skidplates off there. I'm scoutin' the ship, makin' sure nobody's dyin'.
[00:45] <Waitstate> alright then.
[00:46] * Earshot exits the station, transforming into moth mode and flying torwards the Freedom.
[00:46] * Waitstate picks up a padd that's displaying the station's computer interface.
[00:46] <Slipstream> Try the plaza too, unless you've been there already.
[00:46] <Waitstate> lead the way :)
[00:46] <Ruse> Thank goodness my shuttle wasn't too badly damanged.
[00:46] <Solder> Already tried the Plaza. Emp-tee.
[00:47] * Apocrypha gingerly steps over the wreckage laying around the hole in the wall and walks out into the hall.
[00:47] <Slipstream> Heh, arighty. *starfighter-shrugs*
[00:47] * Waitstate kicks various severed bits of Keel-Haul as he goes.
[00:47] <Hitchhike> [comm] Bridge, we've finished our sweep of the ship and can report there were no living pirates left behind. We'll split up and assist with repairs now.
[00:48] * Avalanche follows Wait and the others.
[00:48] * Restore finishes with one patient and moves onto the next.
[00:48] * Solder misinterprets the shrug as faulty wing supports and begins examining Slip.
[00:48] <Solder> *poke prod*
[00:48] <Slipstream> ... hey, I'm fine, bugger off. Quit it.
[00:49] <Solder> Your wings moved! That can't be good.
[00:49] * Solder prepares to weld.
[00:49] <Slipstream> My wings are built to move!
[00:49] <Solder> ...
[00:49] <Solder> ....riiiight.
[00:49] * Redliner just stands back and watches Solder and Slip interact. He kinda grins.
[00:49] * Solder tests his welder.
[00:49] * Slipstream splits her wings to demonstrate. :P ((think X-Wing))
[00:49] <Flashpoint> *quietly to Redliner* ..someone might be getting hurt by Slip soon...
[00:49] <Solder> Holy bejimus!
[00:49] * Waitstate follows Apocrypha to the medbay, watching his fragile link to the station computers gingerly.
[00:50] * Redliner snickers.
[00:50] <Redliner> *quietly to Flashpoint* and I thought -I- was stupid...!
[00:50] <Solder> Right, rightt...
[00:50] <Slipstream> See? Now bug off. Go help someone who needs it.
[00:50] * Solder backs off.
[00:50] <Solder> Eesh.
[00:50] * Drillmaster walks into the docking bay.
[00:50] * Slipstream closes her wings back together and settles down again.
[00:51] <Solder> Touchy piece'o'junk, ain't ya?
[00:51] * Solder leaves the hanger.
[00:51] <Redliner> wow!
[00:51] <Redliner> what a rude little guy, eh?
[00:51] * Restore wonders where Solder is.
[00:51] <Redliner> pfft. Oughta go teach that guy some manners.
[00:51] * Solder goes off in search of real wounded now.
[00:52] <Drillmaster> Hmm, not nearly as bad as I thought
[00:52] <Apocrypha> Okay, um, I think this is is.
[00:52] * Apocrypha stops.
[00:52] * Slipstream grumbles.
[00:52] <Slipstream> Bloody medics.
[00:53] * Waitstate arrives at the medbay and finds the door locked. With relative ease, he overrides the locking mechanism and opens the doors. Inside is not what any of them expected: a massive complex of machines, some identifiable, most not.
[00:53] <Flashpoint> Just doing their job. Sort of.
[00:53] <Ruse> Bloody medics?
[00:53] <Ruse> Perhaps they should see other medics themselves!
[00:53] <Slipstream> ... when did you get in here, Ruse?
[00:53] <Solder> Guess that's everywhere...
[00:53] * Solder goes back to Medbay.
[00:54] <Gravix> I've been loading up my shuttle. I slipped in a little while ago
[00:54] <Avalanche> Wow. I'm no medic, but this doesn't look like a normal medbay...
[00:54] * Waitstate looks up.
[00:54] <Ruse> I've been loading up my shuttle. I slipped in a little while ago.
[00:54] <Apocrypha> Maybe, um, I mistranslated something. Um, somewhere.
[00:54] <Waitstate> I'd say it spans at least two decks.
[00:54] <Slipstream> Ah, right.
[00:55] <Ruse> You wouldn't believe some of the neat stuff the pirates left behind.
[00:55] <Flashpoint> What things did you find?
[00:55] <Solder> I'm back! I think I found most everyone. I reckon y'could use a hand here?
[00:55] <Redliner> like what?
[00:55] * Solder goes to work in Medbay without waiting for an answer.
[00:55] <Waitstate> I don't think so... look over there. It looks like an operating theater, albiet a huge one.
[00:55] <Slipstream> Ah, pillage, plunder and loot...
[00:55] <Waitstate> I'd wager they could service small baseformers in here if needed.
[00:55] <Restore> *over the noise of the overcrowded medbay* where were you? I called you back a while ago.
[00:56] <Ruse> Weapons, armor, personal items. I might open my own shop in the Plaza
[00:56] <Avalanche> Who d'you think they planned on fixing up in this place?
[00:56] <Slipstream> You're a real opportunitist, you know that Ruse? *chuckles*
[00:56] <Apocrypha> Maybe Deathsaurus knew a lot of combiner teams.
[00:56] <Restore> Nevermind, it doesn't matter, we've got a bucket load of serious wounds, the bots with the red tags.
[00:56] <Ruse> There's always a profit to be made, you just need to know where to look
[00:56] <Solder> I guess I was distracted, Boss. Won't happen again.
[00:56] <Solder> Aye-aye!
[00:57] * Solder heads to the tagged robots.
[00:57] <Redliner> personal items, eh? What sort?
[00:57] <Waitstate> very possible, based on this room
[00:57] <Waitstate> how close are we to the outer hull?
[00:58] <Ruse> To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. They don't seem to be weapons though, so I assume they're just personal items.
[00:58] <Apocrypha> Not very.
[00:58] <Ruse> I'll figure it all out later.
[00:58] <Apocrypha> A few sections in.
[00:58] <Admiral Lilwall> [comm] Medbay, status update?
[00:58] <Redliner> need some help?
[00:58] <Waitstate> Hm. I thought perhaps there was an access from the outside, given the size.
[00:58] * Redliner grins at Ruse.
[00:58] * Terrafirma answers Lil.
[00:58] <Solder> o/'' Whistle while you work... doo-doo-doot--doot doo doo doo... o/''
[00:58] <Apocrypha> Maybe there still is.
[00:59] <Waitstate> <Terra> [comm] we're pretty busy down here. I'm handling the light cases, so I grabbed the comms so as not to bother the real docs.
[00:59] <Ruse> Nah, I'm about done here. I think I'm going to head back out and help clean the ship more.
[00:59] * Solder welds and re-routes and welds and seals and un-re-routes and closes and opens and cuts and pumps and...
[00:59] <Admiral Lilwall> [comm] Any losses?
[01:00] <Redliner> ah. Alright...
[01:00] * Waitstate finds what looks like a terminal and brings up the ship's schematics on it.
[01:00] <Flashpoint> How'd Dark Force go in all the fighting?
[01:00] <Terrafirma> [comm] Unfortunately, yes. I know of 8 dead so far. There are a few severe cases I havent heard anything about yet.
[01:02] <Waitstate> Avalanche, you know how to read this?
[01:02] * Apocrypha investigates the giant repair equipment.
[01:02] <Admiral Lilwall> [comm] Ask Restore to note progress reports to the bridge every so often. Lil out.
[01:02] <Ruse> Dark Force did its part
[01:02] <Waitstate> <Terrafirma> [comm] Will do.
[01:03] * Avalanche takes a look, then shakes his head.
[01:03] <Avalanche> Doesn't look like anything I've ever seen.
[01:03] * Admiral Lilwall helps Crosswire and Forerunner drag pirate bodies into a big pile towards the center of the plaza.
[01:03] <Ruse> Right now the others are helping to clean the Plaza
[01:03] <Waitstate> Actually, I meant the schematics. You think you can locate an exit for us? We may have to move some of this equipment.
[01:04] * Scamp arrives at the Plaza.
[01:04] <Avalanche> The ship's design is really alien. I couldn't tell an engine room from a kitchen on this thing. But maybe something'll be obvious...
[01:04] <Admiral Lilwall> Hitchhike and a few other bots work on repairs in the higher levels of the ship.
[01:04] <Scamp> Wow, and I thought the Plaza was a dump before.
[01:04] * Avalanche looks close and finally sees something that looks like it's probably a bay with an exit.
[01:05] * Waitstate joins Apocrphya.
[01:05] <Waitstate> any idea?
[01:05] * Avalanche points. "That looks promising."
[01:06] * Solder continues working on the tagged robots.
[01:06] <Apocrypha> Hmm?
[01:06] <Apocrypha> Oh, right, the cure. Sorry.
[01:06] <Scamp> Should we carry the waste to an airlock or should be just sweep it all into the bar where no one will notice it?
[01:06] <Apocrypha> I, um, was just...never mind.
[01:06] * Waitstate gives Apocrypha look.
[01:06] <Apocrypha> No, nothing like that yet. This mostly, um, looks like heavy physical repair equipment.
[01:06] <Admiral Lilwall> You can show the trash the way out the airlock first if you like.
[01:07] * Avalanche looks for one that's a little closer, so he won't have to carry things so far.
[01:08] <Scamp> Hmm, that does sound like fun. However, I think I'd rather just carry it out.
[01:08] * Apocrypha pulls herself away from all the neat old stuff.
[01:08] * Waitstate taps in to the med computers and brings up his patched interface on the screens.
[01:08] * Outreach continues sitting in the command deck, fixing himself.
[01:08] <Waitstate> Don't worry, we'll take anything we can carry. But we have priorities here.
[01:09] * Scamp begins putting some debris in a pile.
[01:09] <Apocrypha> Wow, something just occurred to me.
[01:09] <Waitstate> what?
[01:09] <Apocrypha> Unless I was reading those specs wrong...
[01:09] <Apocrypha> ...this was a BACKUP medbay. For convenience to the bridge.
[01:09] <Apocrypha> So think what their main one must look like.
[01:09] * Waitstate gapes.
[01:10] * Avalanche looks up.
[01:10] <Avalanche> Was the big head guy here sick?
[01:11] <Waitstate> I have no idea...
[01:11] <Waitstate> well, do we keep sniffing around here, or do we look for the main lab?
[01:11] <Restore> How are you going, Solder, Terra?
[01:12] <Apocrypha> Hmm. I don't think anything for system-type repairs is going to be on this wall with the industrial reactor stabilizers...
[01:12] * Restore sends another healed crew member back to help with the repairs.
[01:13] <Solder> I've finished two, now. Their vitals seem okay, anyway. Some of these are serious enough I'm not sure they can be immediately repaired. We can stabilize them now, but can't really heal'em until their systems are up to it... y'know?
[01:13] * Apocrypha climbs over some conveyor belts.
[01:13] <Solder> I'm tryin', tho. I can do it.
[01:13] <Terrafirma> [comm] Moving along pretty well on my end. A few severed servos here and there. I'm not qualified to handle the big cases. I could use a bit of repair myself though.
[01:14] <Restore> Do anythign you can to keep them stable and then move on, it's all we can do for now.
[01:14] * Solder nods.
[01:14] * Waitstate watches Apoc, staying a small distance away. Just... in case.
[01:14] <Restore> We're going to be running short on parts soon...
[01:14] <Solder> Yeah...
[01:15] <Solder> When I was out an' about I was pullin' panels off the walls to seal up the patients. So, ah, if Waitsy comes a-hollerin', just blame it all on me. Hey, what 'bout all the empty pirate bodies? Can they be salvaged?
[01:16] <Restore> [comm] Medbay to everyone, we need any parts you can salvage from the pirates, we're running low! Please bring anything you can to medbay.
[01:16] * Apocrypha calls over to Waitstate and Avalanche.
[01:16] <Restore> Heh, on it.
[01:16] <Apocrypha> Hey! I, um, think I found the kind of stuff we're looking for!
[01:16] <Solder> Heh heh!
[01:16] * Avalanche heads over to Apocrypha.
[01:16] <Restore> And I don't think Wait will care too much for the panels, given all the other damage.
[01:16] * Solder turns back to what he was doing just in time to be sprayed with somebody's mech fluid.
[01:17] * Waitstate moves in closer.
[01:17] <Scamp> Sorry Admiral, seems I'm gonna have to bring you to medbay.
[01:17] <Solder> I hope so. I figger a life's more importan' than a decoration, anyway.
[01:17] * Waitstate climbs up to see what it is.
[01:17] * Scamp smirks.
[01:17] * Solder snorts and attempts to stop the spraying fluid hose.
[01:17] * Apocrypha is standing by a big wall-unit full of tiny identical labeled cylinders.
[01:17] <Admiral Lilwall> Too bad you're not even worth that, Scamp. Alright bots, you heard the doc, start picking out useful parts from the scraps.
[01:18] <Waitstate> This?
[01:18] * Waitstate picks one up.
[01:18] <Restore> Waitstate is likly to agree.
[01:18] * Restore continues on working.
[01:18] * Apocrypha gestures up.
[01:18] <Apocrypha> It's pretty big.
[01:18] <Waitstate> they're tiny.
[01:18] <Solder> Terra, how bad're you? Is it compromising your ability any?
[01:19] * Forerunner, Crosswire and Cuffs start taking parts from pirates.
[01:19] <Ruse> Slag, seems I need to bring my stuff to medbay. Ah well.
[01:19] <Forerunner> What sorta stuff are we looking for here?
[01:19] <Terrafirma> Nothing major. Just a glitch in a rotator. If I was doing major surgery... lucky for all of us, I'm not.
[01:19] * ruse takes a handfull of items and heads for the medbay.
[01:19] <Forerunner> I dunno what to take and what not to.
[01:19] <Solder> Ah-ha-ha..
[01:20] <Crosswire> Those motor parts you have there will do, and the cables there.
[01:20] <Solder> [comm] Addendum, in case it wasn't clear... if y'ain't sure what to take and what not to, just take everything and we'll sort it.
[01:21] <Forerunner> What about *hears the comm* This will do then.
[01:21] <Apocrypha> Um.
[01:21] <Apocrypha> So which one do we take?
[01:22] <Apocrypha> Maybe there's some kind of catalog.
[01:22] * Waitstate raises his padd.
[01:22] <Waitstate> hm. unfortunately, I'm not a medic
[01:23] * Outreach's medic senses are tingling! XD
[01:23] * Waitstate pulls up the medical computer system, but has no idea where to start.
[01:24] <Waitstate> [comm (via station comms, since everything is all dampened)] Outreach, you still on the station with us?
[01:24] * Dark Star arrives at the medbay with a few items.
[01:24] * Admiral Lilwall, Forerunner, Crosswire and Cuffs start taking parts to medbay.
[01:25] <Solder> Explenderiffic! Put'em... ah... over there.
[01:25] <Dark Star> I brought a Pirate head. I was going to keep it as a trophy.
[01:25] * Solder gestures.
[01:25] <Outreach> [comm] Right here, sir
[01:26] <Dark Star> Very well.
[01:26] <Waitstate> [comm] We need your help over here. We're not far away. I'm transmitting a map now...
[01:26] <Outreach> [comm] right...right...on my way now.
[01:28] * Outreach appears next to Waitstate after a few moment
[01:29] <Waitstate> Ah, good... we're stumped.
[01:30] <Waitstate> Apoc thinks what we're looking for is in one of these. *shows the cylander he picked up*
[01:30] * Redliner eventually exits flight deck to go help with cleanup.
[01:31] * Outreach looks it over, rubbing his chin "Hmmmm, and it is what exactly?"
[01:31] <Waitstate> we're not sure.
[01:32] <Waitstate> I have the medical computer accessed, but this is out of my field. I have no idea what I'm looking for in it.
[01:32] <Apocrypha> I THINK it's a set of viral weapon antidotes.
[01:32] <Apocrypha> A...um, pretty complete set.
[01:32] <Apocrypha> It looks like.
[01:34] <Outreach> Hmmmm *nudges past Waitstate, eyeing the medical computer, starting to looking it over and work on it.*
[01:34] * Solder finishes patient number six.
[01:35] <Apocrypha> It, um, ought to be translated. Mostly.
[01:35] <Apocrypha> The computer.
[01:36] * Outreach seems absorbed "doesn't matter either way....hmmmm...after reading the breifing on Lifebloods paticular viral pattern, I can safely....assume..." and keeps working, moving over the computer like a pro.
[01:37] * Waitstate watches the master at work.
[01:38] * Outreach turns the screen to Waitstate, showing him some 'technomedicaljargon' "That this is what we're looking for?"
[01:39] <Waitstate> I trust your judgement in this matter, heh.
[01:39] * Waitstate finds it on the wall unit and pulls down a few.
[01:39] * Outreach smiles "I would...I guess"
[01:40] <Waitstate> Let's get it back to the ship for confirmation, then USE it.
[01:40] * Solder works some more.
[01:40] * Waitstate comms all LONAC crew to clear off and regroup at the ship.
[01:40] <Solder> How many patients we got left?
[01:40] <Restore> looks like 30 to 40 or so.
[01:40] <Restore> mostly civs.
[01:40] <Solder> Eesh.
[01:41] <Restore> Pirats made short work of em.
[01:41] * Waitstate gathers his crew at the airlock.
[01:41] <Solder> Aye.
[01:41] <Waitstate> Everyone here and ready to go back?
[01:41] <Solder> I didn't know we had that many on board, is the thing.
[01:42] <Solder> We're not mistakin' pirates for our own, are we?
[01:42] * Outreach stands near Waitstate.
[01:42] <Restore> we've got almost 70 duty staff alone, plenty of civs on top of that.
[01:42] <Solder> oy.
[01:42] <Solder> Well, someone's gotta do it!
[01:42] <Apocrypha> I hope that's the right cure.
[01:42] * Solder works.
[01:42] <Waitstate> So do I. Restore should be able to verify it
[01:43] * Waitstate sets the shuttle for departure.
[01:43] * Apocrypha gets into the shuttle.
[01:43] * Outreach gets into the shuttle as well "I'm almost positive that is the cure.
[01:44] * Waitstate pilots the small ship across the short distance back to the Freedom.
[01:47] * Outreach hopes it will be an uneventful trip...
[01:47] * Waitstate docks in the launch bay and disembarks.
[01:48] <Waitstate> [comm] Wait to Medbay, Restore, we think we've got it. Get your testing equipment running, we're on our way!
[01:48] * Outreach quickly makes his way to the medbay.
[01:50] <Terrafirma> Restore, I think you better handle this.
[01:51] <Restore> Can't handle slag until Outreach is here to take over for me, this bot needs attention.
[01:52] * Waitstate and Outreach and company arrive within minutes.
[01:52] <Restore> Take over for me, Outreach. *puts her tools down beside her current patient*
[01:53] * Outreach looks a little worse for wear, and is still missing a hand, but nods to Restore "sorry I couldn't be here earlier" and starts to work immediately.
[01:54] * Restore motions Wait to the medlab and whoever else that needs to be there as well before heading off into it.
[01:54] * Waitstate goes with, motioning Apocrypha to join.
[01:54] * Apocrypha tags along uselessly.
[01:55] * Restore starts readying the primary lab equipment.
[01:56] <Restore> Load whatever you have into the scanner cart.
[01:56] * Waitstate sets down the tube thingies.
[01:56] * Restore begins testing and stuff.
[01:57] * Outreach works his medic ass off.
[01:57] * Restore veiws the data scrolling on the screen, entering commands into the consoles now and then while she does so.
[01:58] * Restore moves over to a storage panel and opens it, taking out a sample of Lifeblood's viral infection and feeds it into the machine before doing the same with a small amount of the station stuff.
[01:59] * Restore veiws more data.
[02:00] <Restore> You were right, this IS it.
[02:00] * Apocrypha elbows Wait.
[02:00] * Waitstate is busy grinning.
[02:00] <Apocrypha> *under her breath* What, um, am I doing here?
[02:00] <Restore> We need to administer this to Lifeblood.
[02:00] * Restore takes the cure and moves it to another set of equipment.
[02:01] <Waitstate> What? I thought you'd want to be here for the completion of our little quest.
[02:02] * Restore uses the devices to prepare the cure for proper administering.
[02:03] <Apocrypha> Oh. I, um, guess. I just feel sort of weird, watching an operation and all.
[02:03] <Restore> It's ready.
[02:03] * Restore takes the cure and heads for the medibrig.
[02:04] * Waitstate follows.
[02:04] * Apocrypha follows also.
[02:04] * Restore arrives and looks in on Lifeblood.
[02:05] * Restore activates the speaker.
[02:05] <Restore> Lifeblood?
[02:06] <Restore> Lifeblood, we think we've got a cure for your illness.
[02:06] <Lifeblood> I...am here, doctor.
[02:06] <Lifeblood> That is gratifying.
[02:07] * Restore shuts down the cell's energy field and enters.
[02:08] * Restore begins treatment.
[02:10] * Restore scans Lifeblood as the stuff goes through his system.
[02:10] * Outreach works up a storm, patching and fixing and sealing and the like.
[02:11] <Restore> It's working, the virus is being destroyed
[02:12] * Solder re-attaches somebody's arm.
[02:12] <Solder> ... :D
[02:12] <Lifeblood> I cannot feel any change. However, this is of course no indication that it is not working.
[02:13] <Solder> Hand bone connected to the - forearm bone! Forearm connected to the - upper arm bone! Upper arm bone connected to the - shoulder bone! Dem bones, dem bones, dem bones!
[02:13] * Lifeblood waits patiently.
[02:14] <Restore> I'll want to run some tests on you in the medlab, Lifeblood.
[02:14] * Admiral Lilwall arrives back at the bridge.
[02:15] <Lifeblood> Understood. If I am cleared to leave my confinement, Waitstate...?
[02:15] * Outreach looks up at Solder, shaking his head and going back to work.
[02:16] <Waitstate> Of course.
[02:16] <Solder> Aw, learn to enjoy your work, buddy!
[02:16] <Lifeblood> Then let us proceed.
[02:16] * Restore heads for the medlab with LB.
[02:16] <Waitstate> I need to check on the ship in the mean time.
[02:16] <Waitstate> I'll be on the bridge. But after this is all taken care of, we're going to have a celebration :)
[02:16] <Outreach> I do....but not so morbidly so...
[02:17] <Apocrypha> I'll, uh, go with you, I guess.
[02:17] * Waitstate gets into a lift with Apoc and they head to the bridge.
[02:18] <Lifeblood> I must confess, doctor, that I am quite anxious to find the results of this cure.
[02:18] <Restore> As am I, we've been through quite a lot to find it.
[02:18] * Solder considers that, having never though of himself as morbid.
[02:19] * Waitstate feels the lift come to a stop
[02:20] [narration] The Freedom lurches violently with the impact of a cataclysmically powerful weapon.
[02:21] <Solder> woah!
[02:21] <Solder> Not again!
[02:22] * Waitstate stumbles out of the lift onto the bridge as the ship suddenly rocks violently.
[02:22] <Waitstate> What the hell just happened?!
[02:22] [narration] All on board are thrown about.
[02:22] * Outreach tumbles over.
[02:22] <Waitstate> [comm] Engineering, report!
[02:23] * Lifeblood crashes into a wall and scrabbles for purchase on the wall.
[02:23] * Outreach looks around "What was that?"
[02:23] [narration] There's dead air on the comms.
[02:23] * Apocrypha falls over inside the lift.
[02:23] <Admiral Lilwall> Cirrus! What happened?
[02:23] * Redliner falls over on his face where he was helping clean stuff up...
[02:23] <Cirrus> Sensors show the the station just suddenly jumped to full power. It shot us!
[02:23] * Solder tumbles backwards.
[02:23] <Redliner> o_@; what the shit...?
[02:24] * Cirrus pulls himself back into his chair the rest of the way.
[02:24] [narration] Wide variety of bevarages crash all over the place in the bar, knocking out Download in the process.
[02:24] <Waitstate> Shields!
[02:24] <Lifeblood> I see our lot in life has not improved significantly since last I was kept abreast of current events.
[02:24] * Admiral Lilwall climbs back into the command chair.
[02:24] <Admiral Lilwall> Pull us clear of the station!
[02:25] <Cirrus> I'm trying sir, but the engines are unresponsive!
[02:25] * Solder regains his balance and immediately begins checking all of the bodies for new injuries.
[02:25] * Admiral Lilwall moves to the engineering console.
[02:25] <Degrade> [comm] *big smiling half of a face*
[02:25] * Waitstate takes a seat at tactical and tries to get the shields running.
[02:26] <Admiral Lilwall> We're gushing plasma from a nacelle.
[02:26] [narration] The station fires on the Freedom again, a tremendous energy wave washing over the entire ship.
[02:26] * Outreach secures what patients he can reach.
[02:26] <Waitstate> Only 82% power to the shields.
[02:26] * Waitstate is flung against the console. the one next to him blows out.
[02:26] * Solder puts patients back up on their beds and secures them down.
[02:26] <Admiral Lilwall> Attempting to get the backups online.
[02:26] <Waitstate> That was a direct hit! Shields are GONE!
[02:26] <Waitstate> Cirrus, get us MOVING!
[02:26] * Apocrypha staggers to her feet and out onto the bridge.
[02:27] <Restore> test time later, we've a medbay full of patients getting thrown around.
[02:27] <Cirrus> I have thrusters only. We're going as fast as we can, which isn't much!
[02:27] <Waitstate> I have an idea.
[02:27] <Admiral Lilwall> Turn us about!
[02:27] <Degrade> [comm] The last laugh...the last laugh is MINE, vermin!
[02:27] <Admiral Lilwall> Blow the thing away before it wastes us.
[02:27] <Degrade> [comm] You think you've won...you think you can HAVE what is MINE?
[02:28] <Degrade> [comm] The station is mine. Its POWER is mine.
[02:28] <Waitstate> I'm routing power to the DEM. The station's weapon looks monodirectional. We can use the DEM cannon to deflect the shot!
[02:28] <Degrade> [comm] From Hell's heart, I stab at thee. I think that's how it goes. Heh heh heh heh heh *cough*
[02:28] <Waitstate> Cirrus, keep us nose forward!
[02:28] <Solder> [comm] I'm no engineer, but, ah, is there a way to boost the inertial dampers or anything, at least around Medbay? We've got patients getting new injuries they can't afford here!
[02:28] <Cirrus> Doing my best here!
[02:28] <Degrade> [comm] DIE.
[02:28] * Admiral Lilwall takes the other tactical station and opens fire with the Freedom's other weaponry.
[02:28] * Waitstate detects the power surge and fires!
[02:29] [narration] The station fires a blast even brighter and larger than before.
[02:29] <Solder> Oh, fer cryin' out loud...
[02:29] * Outreach secures most of the patients, then his head sleams hard against the wall, knocking him out cold.
[02:29] <Restore> secure the badly wounded!
[02:29] * Solder gets sprayed by the same robot's mech fluid that he finally sealed up earlier.
[02:29] <Lifeblood> Some days it does not pay to get out of the cell.
[02:29] <Solder> Rightio!
[02:30] [narration] The entirety of the Freedom is engulfed in a brilliant light as the two immensely powerful weapons intersect. There is what looks like a massive explosion, and when the light clears... the Freedom is gone.
[02:30] <Waitstate> -TO BE CONTINUED-
