Constructed minutes before Powerplay was on the Ark, Line-In is considered Powerplays older brother. Line-In prefers to take things easy and has a relaxed attitude towards most things, but doesn't hesitate to run into battle. Line-In came across LONAC while residing on a station after the deaths and disappearances of the Autobots he was working with.
Like the other cassettes Line-In also has an animal partner Direclaw, a wolf. Line-In has an internal-light matrix data store system which has a nearly infinite data storage capacity, like that of the other cassettes. The majority of the data stored is industrial music which he grew a liking for during his time on Earth. He often has the music playing quite loud resulting in him being unable to tell if others are talking to him or not.
In robot mode Line-In is armed with two rapid fire splinter rifles which fire metal shards which contain small amounts of explosives which detonate on impact with an object. Line-In isn't particularly strong or fast in robot form.
