Hi Fi is a textbook trouble maker. If there's chaos and mayhem to be had he's in the middle of it. Fun loving and laid back, Hi Fi looks for ways to stir things up as a way to practice his martial arts. He once instigated a riot in a marketplace just so he could take on it's entire security force. Which he left in a heap. Hi Fi loves studying the martial arts. He'll study a particular style for hours or even days if he thinks he can learn a new technique. Has sturied and mastered styles from many worlds, but finds the styles from Earth the most original and useful. Enjoys working with/for Rockbox, often working as a bouncer in the clubs Rockbox works at. Is one part of a lethal team with his sister Eequ.
Hi Fi is a master of the unarmed martial arts. His knowledge of fighting techniques is so vast that he has turned to psudo-fighting styles such as Earth based pro-wrestling for inspiration. In his studies he has learned to control the energies within his body. This allows him to do such things as increase his strength, speed, and endurance, or create improvised attacks such as those he has seen in Earth's martial arts fiction. One of his favorite improvised techniques allows him to gently rub his fingers over a surface and watch as it falls apart as if cut by a surgen's scalpel.
Hi Fi's habit of getting into trouble often times leaves him in over his head. His attempts to playfully antagonize a group tend to end with every living being within a cubic kilometer wanting his head on a pike. Hi Fi's energy channeling abilities are the result of his subconsciously rerouting his power reserves. Where he believes thinks he is using his "chi" (spirital energies), he is actually draining his power cells. The more power he focuses into his fighting the faster he drains those cells. This is brought to devestating reality when he tries to project energy beams through physical space. These "fireball" techniques often leave him powerless and in stasis lock, and his enemies unharmed as they blocked his attack with simple force fields.
