Shortly before the Autobot Decepticon broke out once more on Cybertron, Download worked at the Neutral Ground bar on Cybertron, but left for a better pay rate at another bar in a neighbouring sector. It wasn't long after the war erupted when he found himself captured by Decepticons and sent to a slave world. Download is young and doesn't need or want much from life. He enjoys his job and the interaction with others that come with it, enjoying a good conversation at any given time. While he holds no ill will towards Waitstate, he believes the LONAC commander thinks otherwise.
Shortly after escaping the slave world with LONAC crew members, he was modified by Restore to transform into a disk. Like the other LONAC disks, he can hold an almost infinite amount of data and spends much of his spare time downloading various forms of gaming media, though rarely does he actually use any. In robot form, he weilds a standard laser pistol for self defense reasons only.
His can often become so involved with his program downloads that he has on many occassions turned up late for a shift in the bar. He is not very fast, strong or agile in either of his forms.
