Function: Civilian / Low Grade Maintainance Worker
"Don't hope for anything, it'll never last."
Crosscut is a quiet bot, who has spent most of her life going from one job to another. The longest she
ever held down a job was five months, continually being fired because there
was little need for her. Most maintenance bots these days can do everything
she can and infinitely more. The constant rejection has turned her into
quite a depressed bot, that finds it difficult to hold onto any sort of
self-esteem. She doesn't shy away from others, and will engage in conversation
of some type if approached, but makes no effort to interact with most.
She did find happiness for a short time with her partner, Gillitor, but
he was killed during a pirate raid just prior to being found by LONAC.
This devastated her, and she can't speak about it. She now tends to believe
nothing is worth the effort, as it only ends sooner or later. Usually for
her, it's sooner. Although one of the lowest types of maintenance worker,
Crosswire is quite good at what she does. It's the fact that what she does
can be so easily done by even the average engineer that keeps her out of
work. She has dealt with rejection for so long now that she has little
desire to bother trying to upgrade her knowledge base to become a higher-level
worker.
In robot form, Crosswire
is fairly agile. While she carries no actual weapons, the tools she carries
in subspace could cause some minor injuries if she ever had to defend herself.
Crosswire transforms into a red, sporty hover car. In this form, she has
excellent manoeuvrability and speed.
Her greatest set back is
her mentality, which is stuck in depression mode most of the time. She
can be very distant as a result, as if in a daydream. She has little in
the way of armor, and as such is easily damaged. |
