Comet wants nothing more out of life than to freely explore the uncharted regions of the cosmos.
He's fascinated with anything and everything out there, from measly space dust to massive
supernovas and complex binary star solar systems. Unfortunately, though his altmode is certainly
space-ready, it's not built for the stresses of breakaway or re-entry. As a result of this
and his rather middle-class civilian status, Comet did not leave his home planet until recently,
as part of a refugee ship fleeing the war. His previous grounding was source of much frustration
for him, but his high spirits and good temper helped him to make the best of his lot in life.
Having recently been rescued by LONAC, Comet finally has his opportunity to journey into the vast
unknowns. Generally quite friendly, though still rather shy and introverted, Comet still hopes to
one day have a ship of his own with which he can explore the galaxy freely.
Comet transforms into an intergalaxial data courier, giving him the spacefaring
capabilities of a small starship and larger memory banks than a Transformer his size usually
accomodates. He makes use of this space with starmaps, definitions, calculations, hyperspace
routes, and whatever else strikes his fancy. Comet has become a rather accomplished astronavigator
through simulation runs, which also carries over into stellar cartography.
To make room for his courier equipment, Comet lacks any sort of weaponry or energy
shielding more sophisticated than a standard deflector. As such, Comet would be fairly helpless
in a firefight. Comet's armor distribution is, for the most part, designed around his alternate
mode, leaving him less durable in robot mode. Comet is inherently naive and child-like, causing
him to trust anyone far more than he should.
