Once a human, Admiral Lilwall's life was turned upside down when a battle between the Autobots and Decepticons destroyed not only his home town, but the majority of his family and friends. The battle occurred when most of his family were together celebrating a family occassion. With only nine of his family surviving, they were rushed to hospital with extensivly severe injuries. The doctors soon came to the conclusion that nothing could be done to save them. That's when First Aid stepped in. Using advanced technology under the permission of Optimus Prime, First Aid successfully transferred the minds of the survivors into Transformer bodies. While the others of his family accepted Optimus Prime's invitation to join the Autobots, Admiral Lilwall declined it. He didn't feel comfortable joining them, due to their involvment in his family's deaths. Although he did not feel anger against them, he came to resent having been turned into a robot, and would rather have died. He left Earth and traveled to uncharted space and kept to himself, thinking that time would heal his mental wounds and perhaps convince him of joing the Autobots. He wasn't heard or seen of for two hundred and thirty-five years, then in 2233, he returns only to find he still does not feel he can belong to the Autobots. He soon met Waitstate, owner of the Neutral Ground bar, and found friendship there, albeit shakey for a time. Later, he became one of the founding members of LONAC.
